    Excellent!

What's Good: There is nothing to dislike about it. Even though there is this huge underground Mumbai metro construction going on exactly in front of the hotel still Taj makes sure that its patrons are not affected by it even a wee bit. If they take soo good care of the things out of their control, imagine how good they will be in things they are actually supposed to do.

What needs to improve : Absolutely nothing worth mentioning.

Reason For Rating : Simpy because it is Taj. Taj never disappoints. When you pay a premium for a stay, the people at taj make sure you get evey penny worth the experience. Pro tip- browse multiple websites to get the best possible deal because the prices usually dont differ much but what all is included in the price makes a world of a difference.

  • Thank you

Indrani maam In the current crisis, the way your team at President managed the operations is just commendable. Be at Front office or Food & beverages or security or housekeeping, you all put in persistent effort in ensuring continuous operations. This is above hospitality which cannot be shared in simple words. Would like to mention super-humans of President: Ms, Ranjeeta, Ms Dolly, Ms. Suman and Mr. Idris from front-office. Mr. Rajat, Mr. Swapnil, Mr. Abhishek, Mr. Mayank and Mr. Parvez from food and beverage. Chef Raghuram and Chef Atul from kitchens. Mr Prashant and Mr Majid from security. A big thank you to these bravehearts. Stay Safe, will meet you soon, let the lockdown over.

  • Fantastic stay

    by Mahanjain on

We loved our stay at Taj - President. This is our first time staying here. The service provided was so good that we surely will find ourselves coming back every time we are in Mumbai. We had breakfast at Trattoria and honestly its one of the best breakfast spreads we have seen. We would look forward to just having breakfast every morning. The manager of restaurant Rima made sure we were made absolutely comfortable and well attended. Full marks to the team.

  • Great Experience

    by SenthilZen on

I had a pleasant stay here. The experience was great starting from check-in, traditional warm welcome, room, house keeping, surprise gift, floral decoration, breakfast and check-out. Staffs are very friendly. It is very close to World Trade Centre. I would love to stay again here.

  • Not luxurious, but still comfortable.

Our first impression wasn't so good because when we arrived, our transport was not able to get into the driveway to the hotel entrance. There is currently a lot of construction going on for an underground subway in front of the hotel. So we had to walk from the main road to the entrance, through security, and onto a small unimpressive lobby. The reception was a circular counter, with several staff in front of several computer screens, spread evenly around the counter. In retrospect this concept does work, because whoever is available will be able to serve the guests. And movement among the staff is ergonomic. The lobby was really small; thankfully guests and visitors do not stay long there. Beyond the reception counter are the lift lobby, and 3 F&B outlets. Our bedroom was reasonably spacious, and everything we needed was there. . Tea and coffee facility, mini fridge, room safe, ironing board with iron, bedroom slippers, hairdryer, good class toiletries, long mirror, soft towels , bottled water. We opted for twin beds; the sheets clean and fresh. And all the switches work. We were comfortable thanks to very good housekeeping. Owned by the Taj group, this hotel is probably two or three grades lower than the Taj hotels. Its location is near to several places of interest, such as Gateway of India and Marine Drive. Our room rate came with an excellent breakfast buffet. The selection catered to local and Western tastes. Hot Indian breakfast breads and curries, egg station, cold meats, sausages, bacon and beans, fresh fruits, yoghurt and cheese, cereals, milk and juices, gluten free bread. And a staff going round with a kettle of hot masala chai to pour for guests - a very charming Indian practice. Overall , the hotel service was friendly and prompt.

  • Higher floors have less noise and very calm. Take sea view or partial sea view.

  • Front facing higher floor have a nice sea view.

  • High Rooms have great views, but apparently to get a king bed you need to be willing to stay on the lower floors.
