The rooms are clean and of decent size. Situated in South Bombay, the location is great and the connectivity is also good to major tourist spots around. The staff, although not particularly very enthusiastic, is definitely helpful. All in all, good value for money.

I recently traveled to Mumbai and would like to share some reasons Why NOT to book this property: No regard of customer, Issues with AC, Water logged in bathroom due to drainage problems, Wifi was not working, Cockroaches here and there, reception guy was extremely rude and UNWELCOMING! (Should be fired for his extreme nonchalant behaviour) They downgraded the double bed room to twin beds. Breakfast had no options - just idly and vada! The entire area as you enter smells of fish. So perhaps The worst hotel to stay in entire Mumbai. Oyo Buck up and unlist this property as it's defaming your name even after charging so much! Very expensive with no services.

Absolutely superbly appointed rooms, the one I stayed at was on the top floor. Five star quality at very affordable rates. It was a killer location, next to the CST Main station and close to the shopping and great restaurants. Breakfast served in the room and extremely helpful staff. Highly recommended

I booked this hotel via hotels.com at least 2 months in advance of my visit here. Unlike other hotels during my trip to India, no one had contacted me to ask what time I was due to arrive and through the OYO website there was no way of contacting the hotel by email as their contact facility doesnt work. Having arrived at the hotel at 4am, we were told that there was no booking in my name. The guy on reception was positively rude and after 15mins of procrastination told me there was no booking and it wasnt his fault, however strangely enough there was a room available which was considerably more than what we were due to pay. Having had no choice, I paid for the room and had our bags taken upstairs. Unfortunately the porter also decided to hang around, despite me telling him I had no rupees, only to be told I could give him a tip in the morning. Now, on check out I was told by a different person that the booking had been cancelled by hotels.com the day before. Funny how that wasnt mentioned in check in. Having contacted hotels.com they insist the booking was cancelled by the hotel so someone has been lying to me - if it is the hotel then they at no point tried to contact me like other hotels and have gained from me paying more then I should have originally through hotels.com. If the hotel would like to contact me directly to explain their issue then I look forward to it, otherwise I would strongly urge you to look elsewhere for accommodation in Mumbai as the lack of trust in the running of this hotel is overwhelming

What do I say? While our guestroom was perfectly acceptable, when the reception staff (who I assume were the owners) does everything to make you feel like they don't want you there, it doesn't make for a pleasant stay. I think it's perhaps best if they sell up and try their hand at something else since they certainly don't want to run a hotel. I'm not a fussy customeer and don't want for much, but it's rather ironic that they called this place 'The Welcome Hotel' when i've never felt so unwelcome in my life. There's a fairly extensive list of things that weren't right, including the bizzare WIFI system, all of which I have too little time to list in detail, but as you can imagine, I won't be staying here again... EVER. This is a shame because I am returning to Mumbai in a month's time. Had they been more friendly, they surely would have got my business.
