Falling waters resort is situated in lush green valley, nature lovers would love this place with bird chirping sound through out day. Room size is large, they have badminton court also. Food is good but it would be great if you order in advance adequately.

The place was epitome of tranquility. I visited falling waters with my family which included my elderly parents and my little niece and both of the age group was happy. The staff is very courteous, polite and helpful from the manager Mr Kiran, Mahesh to the boys who were looking after the catering. It was a pleasant stay clean rooms amazing surroundings so close to nature. Best experience of the woods slept in the lullaby of the birds and falling waters. We all left with a smile on purr faces and we surely would love to visit again. Thank you falling waters for a blissful experience.

Mankulam is 16 km before Munnar City. We decided to avoid the hustle and chose "Falling Waters" here, intrigued by the claims of a small waterfall inside the property. And it tuned out to be one of the best decisions in our travels. The property has world class tropical rain forest landscaping with natural forest surroundings. And there realy is a net waterfall which produces two brooks running through the property, giving us a refreshing natural sound all the time. Beautiful bird songs and jungle chirps add to the ambience of being inside a forest. Food is pretty good, and there is additional recreation of carrom, chess, badminton and table tennis for the kids. Cottages are very spacious, clean, and there is running hot water even during power cuts because they use external LPG Cylinders to heat water. Only minus point is no mobile connectivity other than BSNL but Wifi was good and we could communicate without any problem. I must make special mention about the sincerity of Mr Kiran and his team, especially Linesh. On one trip after our sightseeing, there was a cloudburst at 8 PM and a dangerous tree with toxic leaves crashed down Mankulam highway. There was no power and the kids were scared. Kiran, Linesh and their friend came up to the fallen tree, and carefully took us one by one through the huge fallen tree without the leaves touching us. They risked getting a dangerous rash for their customers, and these are the type of resorts we can trust when management and staff are so courageous and selfless for the customers. My family wants to visit again and I wish 1000s of more families visit this exotic resort.
