What's Good: Loved how the stay is located in the middle of the forest, very quiet and serene. Though after 7 pm that also meant that we couldnt do anything. If you are looking for a quiet getaway with your spouse or family and love nature. There is nothing like this place!
What needs to improve : Nothing bad about the place, only at night it gets super dark and slightly difficult to reach here if you dont know the exact location

Enjoy the great hospitality from Mr Joshy and family. Here you can feel safe and more comfortable with the family ambience. You can have a great time . Good food in traditional kerala style . A home away home.

I had a wonderful time at Joshys place and I strongly recommend it. Joshys place is an ideal place to spend few days or more in Munnar. The place is hidden in a beautiful and quiet village near Munnars centre, and it is very close to most tracks and attractions in the area. The rooms are very nice, spotlessly clean, and you are provided with basic amenities such as soap, toilet papers (yep, youre not always provided with these in India), and even toothpaste etc. The homestay has its own private garden with few tables, swings and a little pond, which is great place to relax or have your dinner after a long day trekking and exploring. Joshy and his wife offer home cooked meals at a very reasonable charge, and I must say the meals I had were one of the highlights of my stay in Munnar and one of the best I had in Kerela- I highly recommend for anyone who stays here to try them. Joshy and his lovely family were very welcoming and friendly, on my first day his son was kind enough to take me for a walk around the village, which was really nice, and Joshy gave me so many tips about the area and helped me organise the activities I wanted to do there, and at the end of my stay he was kind enough to give me a left to the bus stop. Joshy also set me up with a trekking guide whos name is Ajith and he took me trekking around the area as well as tea and spice plantations. Ajith is a super knowledgeable and extremely friendly guide, he really knows the best spots around the tracks, and he scheduled our trekking tour perfectly so we had time to go to the Tea museum, and Kathakali and Kalaripayattu shows. Id definitely go back to Joshys place whenever Im in Munnar.

Joshys place is wonderful. The room was very clean. He cooked delicious breakfast and dinner for us. We mentioned once that we wanted to go trekking and he arranged a wonderful guide for us. Nice stay. Very recommendable!

We just spent three nights at Ansmariya Holidays and are leaving really happy. The place itself is about 18km from Munnar - a good scooter ride away. Joshy, the lovely and so caring host, was so helpful. He took good care of us even before we arrived and organized a pick-up. For the next day, he suggested a hike through the surrounding coffee/cardamon/ tea fields. It was stunningly beautiful. Thumbs up for Ajith, our guide! The following day, we could use his scooter which was also really convenient. The home cooked meals (breakfast + dinner) were delicious (veg + non-veg option no problem) and Joshy did everything possible to please us. We were really touched by how service-oriented he is! The house itself does look as cute as in the pictures. We welt really cozy here. Beautiful lush garden around, good wifi. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely time in this place. The beds are super comfortable! Joshy, the host, is extremely friendly and caring, the food was very delicious Keralan style cuisine and the place and the area around ist super green and quiet. Though it is a little far from Munnar Town, the ride is through beautiful landscape and tea plantation, but renting a scooter or some other kind of vehicle is highly recommended. Joshy gave us very good advice for things to do and places to visit around, for example a wonderful 6 hour hike through the forest and cardamom and tea plantations, guided by Ajith (9447221066) an amazing guide. If youre willing to drive a little while we can very much recommend this place, wed love to come again some time.
