  • Too far from city, nestled with natures gift

    by rpstgnyc on

We stayed here for one night as part of Kerala vacation package. This place is too far from the city and located quite deep into the woods. The resort is within a tea plantation zone and therefore surrounded by greenery and other natural elements. The resort staff doesnt care much about your comfort or needs except reminding you of the dinner/lunch readiness. The front desk lady was a bit rude and struggled to open the lock of our room. Not sure if the staff was temporary. Food in the cafeteria is of average quality with limited choices. Be prepared to eat here as there are no other options close by. I dont recommend this place due to its mediocre level of service, inconvenient location and limited food options.

  • Really A Dream Catching experience

    by Sandip J on

We visited Dream Catcher Resort Munnar in November 2017. The resort is little far from city. But once you reach there, you won't feel that. The best thing about this resort is its location; it is inside a tea plantation and greenery all around. The place is perfect for honeymoon couples who need their time amidst of hectic site seeing. Also, families can enjoy their stay at Dream Catcher Resorts. One more thing I like is the chirp of birds in the mornings. The rooms are clean and well maintained.Well-mannered staff, prompt room service, Helpful front desk and scenic beauty around made our stay a memorable experience. The hotel is surrounded by Tea/Orange/Cardamom Plantation. Tree houses are also one of the attractions there. When we have seen the tree houses, we fixed to book those in our next visit to Munnar. Food quality is nice, very hygienic and most important is well priced. The non-veg buffet was cost us around Rs.450 and Veg buffet was around Rs. 400.In breakfast you can eat delicious Kerala cuisines. While return I forgot my daughters sweater in the room. I called at front desk and Miss. Joshita confirmed that their staff got it. She also assured to help me by courier it to my Mumbai address. After a week, I got that sweater on my home address. I would like to thank the hotel management, Room service staff and Miss Joshita for the same. Overall, it was an awesome experience and would love to recommend this hotel to others. Certainly, we would like to visit this place again in future specially to have the tree house experience.

  • Nice and pleasant stay!!

    by Nitish B on

I personally recommend others to stay at this place, the staffs are very humble and co-operative. The food, rooms, ambience, arrangements are very nice and breathtaking scening beauty is really amazing. And the way they have mainatined it is truly commedable. One suggestion to give is that if you can place a glass jug instead of keeping plastic bottles, thats really ruin the entire beauty of the room. Also if you can place a water heater which instantly provide a warm water. I really look forward to visit again and suggest other to come. Thank you for everything. Nitish

We are in dream catcher munnar in diwali 2017.they have decorate hotel with candle light along with candle light dinner.we have two intrerconeected rooms.this room are big clean, and very good.location and balcony is perfect. Following are good point about dream catcher. 1) hotel is in between plantation we can see tea ,elaichi(Cardamom),orange and many other. 2) Rooms are big clean and well maintain. 3) Tree house are very good and one can get full privacy. 4) food is good 5) staff is very good and cooperative. This far from munnar town but that is not big issue if vehicle is with you.

  • resort inside a tea plantation

    by Mohit_Pathak on

our's was a family stay here from 17th to 20th Oct'2017. The best thing about this resort is its location, it is inside a tea plantation and greenery all around. It is couple of Kms away from the nearest town (tea company) and approx 20 kms from Munnar city which some people may not prefer. However, for people (like us) looking for a calm and peaceful environs for holidays this is a perfect place. you can walk into tea plantation from resort via small cable bridge. we traveled via our own car and due to wrong GPS route we lost way and got stuck up on a muddy road late in the evening.. .we called hotel and staff came to help us within 10 mins. Staff is very helpful and courteous, food is good and fairly priced. Parking space is safe and is enough for approx 16 cars in case you are traveling via your own car.
