Mixed feelings about this hotel. With quite a few negative reviews here, I was a but worried but the hotel was much better than expected. Very centrally located next to the town (on your doorstep). Big hotel. Clean. Not very busy. Huge lobby. Coffee shop on premises but always seemed to be closed. Welcome drink on arrival. Big room with free tea and coffee facilities. Staff generally friendly and helpful. Speak English. There is not much to eat in the town so we ate at the hotel both nights. Glad we did. Buffet with a lot of options and very tasty. Delicious. Drinks are an additional cost. All Kerala food with a few pasta options. Not sure if there is an a la carte option. Our breakfast was included but I didn't have it. Wifi is very slow and only works in the lobby which was a bit annoying. Would not recommend have the massages there that they advertise. There is nothing wrong with the hotel if you want to be close to the town. If I went again, I would stay closer to the tea plantations

We (family of 6 adults) stayed for 2 nights in mid October. Our rooms were in a separate building to the main building and restaurant. Not an issue other than we did get a bit wet on one trip between the restaurant and the rooms as there is no covered walkway between the two. Rooms are clean and bright and the bathroom was nice. No buffet breakfast the first morning as it was the beginning of the season and we were the only guests. Following morning was full buffet and options were excellent. Staff were courteous and attentive. WiFi was non-existent in the rooms so we needed to visit the downstairs "lounge" to catch up on emails etc. Location is excellent if you want to take a walk around Munnar. Would recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for 3 nights during of our charity trek, guiding blind and partially sighted fellow travellers. Each evening consisted of furniture being dragged across the floor above wus hich turned out to be the roof ( banqueting hall) it started at 6.30/7 pm until 6/7 am....there were 6 of us complained but nothing was done, no respect for guests. 2 hours sleep if that is just not acceptable, our tour company specialising in holidays for visually impaired will never use this hotel again The food was below average too so all in all not a good experience at all.

Stayed a couple of nights here to attend a conference being hosted in the hotel. The rooms are decent though nothing great. I found the buffet meals to be strictly average however, and that front needs significant improvement. Its a very good location though.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel last week. The Receptionist was the worst ever I have seen in my life. This guy does not know how to respond to a client and was arguing with me for almost 10 minutes. Which made my day spoiled and there is no communication with the receptionist with other staffs. I felt so sad and angry because of his action and behavior. I wonder how this guy became a receptionist. This incident was on 20th June Morning 6.30. If this review is taking seriously - The hotel management have to make sure - who was that Receptionist and take teach him how to behave with the clients. Because He is not conveyed the message - We as a group became late for the day our main programme and all became a mess. So guys who want to take up such receptionist are really insane.
