What's Good: The overall experience was good , we booked valley facing cottage and the cottage is a room with attached bathroom , very less space for 3 people ,so we requested other rooms ,tree house , which is very good location except for the valley facing cottage ,this hotel can be booked for other rooms

This is a real heaven. Its so natural and peaceful. Therez a small water fall. The tents are spacious and walk a uphill is not tiring. The staff helped us with our laguages and with our toddler too. Food is gud. But the experience of staying so close to nature is really cherishing. I strongly recommend this place to all nature lovers

We booked this resort after reading the excellent reviews, however, once we reached the resort we were extremely disappointed. The reception area was broken and was a pile of bricks with bricks being scattered all over to area, seems like no one bothered to move or clear out the debris. The steps upto the tree house were slippery and wet despite the fact that the weather has been sunny for the past few days. The exterior of the tree house itself was rusted and the interiors were damp, dark and looked unclean. There are a lot of debris suck to the trees around the area giving the place a very shabby and gloomy feel. While we understand that the resort might have taken some damages during the Kerala rains, the management should make a minimum effort to clean and maintain the property if they want an influx of guests. We had originally planned to stay here for 3 nights but checked out in 40 minutes despite having lost half of the booking amount.

This is a resort which is like nonce others that you will find in Munnar or in nearby areas The resort is located almost amidst the jungle on the banks of a stream which flows nearby. The resort has only a 5-6 rooms available which have been designed in such a way that all of them are located a far apart and each provide a unique experience. You get a hint of the experience that lays ahead when the guy at checkin counter provides you a small BSNL mobile to contact them and small but strong torch for your convenience. Whatever rooms you might choose to stay you will going to sleep hearing the lullaby's of Jungle and waking up to the wonderful sound of chirping birds. The rooms are all well kept and you will be hard pressed to find a problems with them. Right from the very comfortable bed to washroom to sitout area, everything has been planned and organized with a specific jungle experience in mind. The food is really nice and evening snacks, breakfast and Lunch/Dinner are part of your bookings. We enjoyed the trek to the dinning area from our room during dinner more than anything else. You negotiate the roads with frogs jumping by, crickets chirping etc. Do not go to this place if you are eternally afraid of insects. Do not go if you are afraid of the dark and Do not enjoy the serenity sound of the jungle . But If you think you can survive a day or 2 without the amenities of modern life like Tv and internet, then go visit this place at least once if you are travelling in Munnar. I traveled with my wife and daughter who is 9 months old. My friend was travelling with his wife and kid who is 7 year old. None of us faced any kind of issues. Go stay at least for 1 day in this hotel if you want to experience something different. They have their video available in youtube. You can check it out as well Traveled in Sep 2018

We had a fantastic stay at ela ecoland, location is so beautiful with lot of greenery, water flowing through the woods and many birds singing ....truly a place to visit if you love nature, peaceful settings. My wife was little sceptical about coming here after hearing about recent floods, but this place is 100% back to normal. We are coming back again in December for sure, thanks team ela

I have to say that this is one the best way to spend your weekend , if you are looking for a place away from the city , away from all the chaos . You would be waking up to the lush greenery of the forest , sound of birds chirping and a small river that flows through the resort.
