Those who enjoy the British Club culture, look no further. With 9 hole golf course, tennis courts, billiards, Table Tennis etc etc.. plus a great pub with a 100 years old history displayed around you. Stay there to enjoy a typical British club experience.

We stayed at the High Range Club the past few times when we holidayed at Munnar..the club seems to be very far away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre when you drive down to it but there is a path by the exit gate that takes you over the bridge and right down to where the shops are if you walk down. However once at the club, it all seems very far away and all one can see is the sprawling golf course and old trees and seasonal flowers in bloom..The Victorian setting within the club also helps rekindle the old world nostalgia

We, a family of 3 visited Munnar from the 11th to the 14th of April 2018. We stayed at the Highrange club after much contemplation and it was indeed a very good decision. The cottage we stayed in was neat, clean and had a beautiful old world feel to it of the British era. The course Ahead was absolutely lush green with tall old trees and it was bliss to be woken up by the bird aptly called the singing schoolboy. The staff were extremely hospitable and took very good care of us. A small issue with a bathroom fitting was immediately attended to by the manager himself as the plumber would take time arrive. Breakfast is not included in the stay but the charge was very reasonable. Minimum variety in Lunch and dinner and the menu is pretty much fixed. As its tucked away It takes a full 10 minutes to get to the club from the main road. No shops around to buy essentials so you need to be well stocked with whatever you need. Great place if you wish to spend time in solitude or private time with family. Interesting facts and pictures of the club crop up at every tea factory, tea museum etc Feels great to sample a part of history.... Hope this helps.....

Stayed with family - wife and two children below 8 years. good place to stay. Old British construction and maintained in same way. Cottages are suggested for a family like us. Even then we had to take a extra bed. Buffet dinner is worth for 250/-. Good Breakfast. Staff is good. However the new hot water geezers are too slow to give water as required and hot water is lifeline. Good ambience. Silent place...

My Wife & I stayed at this Club on the 7th & 8th Jan-2018. It had its old world charm being set away from the busy town of Munnar. It sat nestled alongside the Tea Gardens on the banks of a Stream that gently flowed to its left. With a sprawling Golf Course though not operational while we were there, the Club resembled the era gone by - the Gentlemen Tea Planters of the British Era sipping their Tea & Cakes under a canopy of colourful bougainvilleas... The Bar was adorned with Trophies and Photographs dating back to the 19th Century. A pity however; that the Club does not have a Bar Licence as yet thereby denying the weary traveller his daily tipple. The Bearers dressed in their White Uniforms and Green Headgear looked ever so regal. The Food was very good and in keeping with Club Cuisine of any repute. They gave us two different Breakfasts on two subsequent days - the Idlis were super soft and melted in your mouth. The Chicken Roast and Spaghetti for Dinner was just perfect. The Upkeep of the Club however; needs some attention. All in all a terrific Place to stay for 2 Nights....
