We stayed 2 nights at the Kollenkeril plantation Homestay. The room was so comfortable and the views were fantastic. It was wonderful to be woken in the morning by the Malabar Whistling Thrush and the other birds just outside the window. The plantation is large and its so interesting to take a walk around and see all the different spices being grown here. The food was delicious and the staff friendly.

We had a wonderful two days here. We were made to feel very welcome by Joseph, who arranged a driver to show us the tea plantations and several other of the many beauty spots in the local area. Our tour of the farm with Joseph was one of the highlights; it produces so many spices and is beautifully situated; the homegrown coffee is very good. Joseph's brother, James, prepared delicious Keralan food for us. Kind and charming staff and a really good stay.

We spent a night as a family of 2 adults and 3 children and stayed in the family room. We really enjoyed the unique view of the mountains and being surrounded by the green nature. The host, Joseph was also very hospitable and offered us a tour of the plantation, the food was really delicious and the place was really peaceful and perfect to relax. We wished we could have stayed longer.

We stayed here for 3 days, far too short, and can only recommend this amazing halt far from the madding crowd. First of all, you meet Benny in the village before moving up to the bungalow, a very professional reception... the rooms are comfortable (and some), the view is breathtaking. The caretaker family are absolutely fantastic, welcoming and friendly and on hand for anything you need - and do take advantage of a tour around the plantation, it is fascinating. The breakfast and evening meals were perfect and delicious too. In short, an ideal landing point for visiting Munnar and the surrounding area.

Spent 3 nights here- 2 families as part of a holiday to Kerala. It was a memorable home away from home experience. We were all very looked after by the team of Joseph, his brother James and Eldos. The property has fantastic views all round and a spice plantation, for good measure. Food was divine including a barbecue on our last day. Will be back again. Thank you.
