It was a great stay with a homely feel. Out trip was planned in the last minute and we booked this home stay blindly believing the reviews that it had. The reviews didn't fail us. I had a 3 yr old son and we were quite worried if he would enjoy the stay. But John Uncle and Lizzy Aunty wiped away the worries we had. John uncle entertained my son wherever and whenever possible. Since we booked in the last minute, we got a room that is in ground floor which is comparatively smaller than the first floor rooms. But then, we had the privilege of using the backyard and garden, where we spent most of our time. Rooms were pitch clean and all the services were provided even without asking. Food was just awesome; name anything and it was just AWESOMEEE :). I am writing this review after a week but I still can't forget the taste of the fish made by Lizzy Aunty. The hospitality was absolutely fabulous. It was like going to one of the best known relatives place. I would like to thank Uncle, Aunty, Thatha and Aachi for treating us as a family within. P.S: Please do not expect this to be a star hotel with amazing view of tea estates. This is just a homestay and they do 100% of what they are into.

The best thing about this place is the Good Quality REM Sleep we all had (with Head direction towards South) on all the 3 nights after tiring hilly journeys of sightseeing.A Calm, Peaceful, Serene place, with an always eager host trying their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. If one is looking for a Mid-range home-stay ( as compared to other home-stay prices in Munnar), clean rooms, decent home made food, genuine host to facilitate your travel needs, silent & peaceful location (away from the crowded Munnar market Centre), a long distance mountain view with backyard trees as viewed from the balcony with Chirping Birds, this is the place. Evening Aarati at the nearby Aayappa Temple, 1 km walk from the place which also has a small market, was a good change. I Thank Mr. & Mrs. Johny for making the stay comfortable to the best of their ability.

The room is very small and the bed too is very small for 3people to stay. There wasn't any hotwater in the morning and we were asked to use the washroom of the room next door. There is no view from the balcony these are probably manipulated pictures. Only view you could get is the view of an old shabby house and house gardens with lots of trees. In the morning the complimentary breakfast consisted of only puttu with chana masala and papaya. We have problem with coconut consumption but they never bother to ask. We requested for bread butter or chappatis. That wasn't served. They served some appam that was brought from the neighbors home! Dinner is buffet style with 300 per head. Cooking was very good but quantity has been very poor. Our driver forced us to go their because they provide free foods to them but that was one of the worst decisions. Avoid if possible because there is nothing to do in anachal and there is definitely good options with 2500 per night at other locations in off-season like March. One day was wasted!

Looking out for homestays in Munnar , this place perfectly fitted the bill for three of us. The place is away from the hustle and bustle of the main crowded town .Run by a lovely committed couple James and Lizzy who live on site.their warmth and friendliness made us feel like we were in home. There are three good sized rooms with clean modern bathrooms, with a big balcony which overlooks the green valley. a very relaxed and inviting place indeed. The prices were reasonable compared to other places we researched. The hostess made some real good sumptuous cusines both veg and nveg.with a lot of local ingredients.James who has a good knowledge of the place ,took us around all the places of interest. overall its a fairly good place to stay for a group of six to eight people. Was a great delightful stay at this place.we would definitely visit again
