A beautiful villa having two huge bedroom with attached bathroom, a small kitchen, a dining area, a balcony and a small terrace with a mesmerizing view of mountains, where you can sit for hours and hours and enjoy watching different variety of birds at early morning or just relax and sip a cup of tea or coffee. The place is inside Birds valley resort, so you can use all facilities of the resort. We had an amazing stay at Carpe Diem.I am glad I explored this place through trip advisor reviews and contacted Prakash. He arranged the entire Kerala trip for us where we stayed at Carpe Diem for 2 days and later explored Thekkady and Alleppey.A very sweet and helpful guy, Prakash went out of the way to help us whenever required.Still not out of the Kerala - God's own country mode.

We were 5 Adults + 2 kids and reached around 6.30. We felt the place very pleasant. The villa was completely clean and was ready to stay. There are no delays in check in and nothing. Prakash, the manager, one of the coolest person. He was able help us and guide in any terms during our stay. We wanted to spend more time in resort only but we could not. Will plan again just stay in the resort.

I was in Munnar for 4 days with my family(3 Adults + 2 Kids), unfortunately I got 1 day booking at Carpe Diem other days it was already booked by someone else. It is excellent to stay there, views are awesome, rooms very maintained neatly. Since there is Kitchen facility you can carry some food for your kids and prepare on your own. It is far from Munnar city, quite and very soothing environment The views from terrace were excellent. Above all the hospitality from Prakash was superb. He was there for every need of yours. He was kind and was available 24x7. Thank you Prakash for the cake you arranged for my Son's birthday. The breakfast was good. Dinner was average. Only one restaurant, food option very limited.

Four of us stayed 3 nights at the lovey Carpe Diem cottage. Can't say enough about how kind and helpful Prakash was. He arranged for us to be picked up at the Cochin airport as well as arranging a driver for onward travel and sightseeing while we were in Munnar. The food was absolutely wonderful and the view just cannot be beat. This is a lovely, peaceful cottage a bit of a drive away from the bustle of Munnar town, but in easy reach of any sights you'd like to visit. Bonus is that your stay here helps fund an educational trust that has been set up by the owner. Don't hesitate to book your stay at The Carpe Diem Cottage!

We were a family of four and stayed for three nights at the Carpe Diem Cottage in Munnar which is located in the Bird Valley Resort. Our stay was one of the best we have had and the ambiance, the location, the hospitality extended was of a very high order. It is a two bedroom suite with dinning space and a full fletched kitchen. We could spend some quality family time. There is a restaurant at a stone throw which serves a variety of meals. The villa has been tastefully decorated with crisp and clean bedsheets and linen. The staff took great care to our needs. The best part was the tariff for the villa is used by an education trust owned by a 76yr widow from the US who is presently educating 13 children. One can spend some time taking nature walks around the location. The view from the exclusive balcony is fabulous. It has free high speed WiFi. It is about 30min drive to Munnar town. Ideal and highly recommended for a family stay. Special thanks to Mr Prakash who is the caretaker.
