    Very Good!

    What's Good: Room service

What needs to improve : Path to the hotel

Reason For Rating : There was no problem with the hotel n hospitality as such, but it was quite far off from Munnar, that's all. Rest things were good.

Excellent view from Room & Balcony. Nice rooms and good room service. Tasty food at decent prices. Need to improve pest-control. Few small cockroaches visible in restaurant and table-tennis room. Ventilation problem in rooms though Fan is available. Wire-mesh (mosquito nets) needs to be fixed for windows of Bathroom OR room. Will surely stay here IF I visit Munnar again :)

  • Good Location, Average Food

Hi, In our recent trip to Munnar, we stayed at Tea Village. Hotel is almost 10 kms far from city which makes it quite peaceful. It is located down the hill, road is bumpy too. We booked premium room with jacuzzi but as jacuzzis were not working in any of the room so they got us shifted in to one of their premium room. Room was decent, neat and clean and with a good view. Hotel is good until you have the food here which was below average. We had dinner there the spread was okay and food was tasteless. The food was not warm enough. Staff seems to be not much bothered about it. Again at the lunch we ordered Chilly Paneer and Dry Chiken which we had to return because of bad taste. Hotel Management team has to work on food a lot as rest of the things about property are alright Note- Look for tea estate stay in Munnar

  • Excellent location, needs better upkeep

A hotel located at a good location with lovely views of the mountains and valleys Pro 1) Excellent views 2) Good food 3) Staff extremely helpful 4) Nice spacious rooms. We had the 206 Cons 1) The restroom area did not smell that great. Whenever we get it cleaned, it smells strongly of disinfectant and soon we start getting the smell of sewage. I would suspect the drainage system. Overall entering the room at times was not a pleasant experience. 2) The usage of cards to pay for the stay is a hit and miss. I had to visit their petrol pump 15 mins away to pay for my stay on checkout. 3) The play area needs some definite attention. TT rackets were damaged and they had a plastic ball instead of a real one. 4) When I requested for a kettel, I was given one which when opened was smelling horrible. Overall feel that there is a lack of professionalism, but staff are helpful when we point out the issues. Resort is marked as a 4 star, but I would say its a strong 3 star.

  • Average stay experience.

Pros: - Excellent view, if you are staying in a suite. - The kitchen staff is welcoming and pleasant. - Decent breakfast options. - Decent rooms. Cons: - Premium rooms have to climb up and down 2-3 flights of stairs every time to come to the restaurant or reception. - Premium rooms don't have good view. - Ala Carte was not available during our stay. We had to take a buffet even when we were not very hungry. - Food room service was not available. We were told they don't give food room service when they have a buffet. Thankfully coffee was given by room service in the morning. - The location is a little far from Munnar city. - Wifi signals were poor in premium rooms. Suggestions to hotel management: 1. Please provide a coffeemaker in the rooms. 2. 24 by 7 hot water supply would be good.

  • Simple, Nice Hotel to Stay with no extras

Facility: Good Room: Small and not much space to move around Restaurant: Breakfast was good one day and not on the 2nd day. Front-Desk: Front desk acts like a phone call response service with no offer to help or provide what customer needs. (eg. Called at 5.30 to ask for hot water timings and heard it will come after 6.30am) Game Room: Table tennis rackets need to be replaced for sure. Otherwise it's of no use. Service: Inside restaurant, it was good. Naveen from restaurant was very helpful and friendly!

  • Get premium suites for a good view.

  • If you don't have a problem in climbing stairs then any room on the rear side with a very good view, else take rooms on the same level.

  • Book a corner room on the top floor if possible for the best views

  • All rooms face the valley, but rooms 101, 102 103 are the best then the lower floors.
