Amazing stay, great hospitality

Stayed with my parents, wife and 2 children. The hotel while on the mall road gives a feeling of calmness. The hotel is a heritage property with main building built in 1836 with beautiful decor from the days of Raj. Has breathtaking views of the valley and an observation deck where the queen of England used to have tea. It also has a cute little garden where you can can sit and sun bathe. Rooms are plush and large. Food and services were awesome. We ordered variety of veg and non veg items and all of them tasted great. Their staff members, such as Mr. Shurveer and others were very hospitable. All in a really enjoyable stay. Recommendations: if visiting with family go for garden villa, else go for superior rooms.
Always a delight to stay at Kasmanda Palace Mussoorie
by DivsGurgaon on
For the last 10 years that we have been visiting Mussoorie, Kasamanda Palace has been our preferred choice of stay. Everything is excellent right from the breathtaking views to delicious food, hygiene, safety and the best courteous staff. It is one of the reasons why we keep going back to Mussoorie! The owner, Mr. D P Singh is a perfect gentleman and a big THANK YOU to him for opening up this grand palace for the public to admire and appreciate the royal grandeur.

This hotel is not at all maintaing covid precautions.....nonproper santization n staff wearing gloves etc....breakfast area is poorly maintained buffet is placed n everyone serving on their own in corona time as well.... Breakfast buffet is most pathetic with very limited variety...not justifiable to pay rs.10000 bucks per room per night....better stay at some 2 star than paying n staying at this property...
Best Hotel In Mussoorie
by VishakhaT on
I have visited Mussoorie lot of times and stayed at all kind of hotels but it was my first time at Kasmanda Palace. The entire experience was one of the best I have had in Mussoorie. This was our first road trip post pandemic and I am so glad we chose WelcomHeritage Kasmanda Palace for our family's trip. This heritage hotel is absolutely lovely! Period furniture, antiques, huge rooms and ample open spaces. The food was surprisingly very good too. Both Indian and continental cuisines dishes were delicious. They were also quite consistent with the food, everything was done to perfection. The staff wore masks at all time. Our luggage was sanitized on arrival and all precautions were taken. The location of the hotel is also quite good. It is a minute uphill ride from the mall road. So mall is walking distance and the hotel also has free pick and drop from the mall road. However being perched on a hill, it is quaint and not crammed like the hotels on the main mall road. So one gets best of both the worlds! It has a lovely terrace where you can have your meals or just soak in some sum lazing on the sun beds. The view from the terrace is absolutely gorgeous. The English Tea Garden is also very well maintained and beautiful to spend time. It is an ideal property if you are travelling with a kid like us or just looking at a romantic getaway . It is also quite installable. When I returned home I had so many beautiful pictures to shares! The service is impeccable and the staff goes that extra mile to make it a memorable experience.
All rooms are great!

Some rooms have the valley view, some face inwards, but they're all magnificient (in the original old building).

The superior and royal rooms have a beautiful view of the valley. Delux rooms may let down those hoping for a view.

Keep some time to spend in the property to enjoy its rooms, lobby, restaurants, sit-outs and garden.
