Good Staff Home atmosphere. Excellent food at Room service.welcome at Hotel was great .clean and neat Hotel. Good value for money .Smiling staffs .good food. Breakfast was good .City centre star hotel

I stayed for 2 nights. Owner of this property has invested well on the rooms but not on the standard of the staffs. What a rude and unprofessional staffs...They only help in carrying luggages just to get tips...No other service you can expect from them... Breakfast was a joke...8am it starts by 830 they said chutney,sambar ,vada were over already... AC doesn't work in any of the rooms.No toiletries,no room.cleaning during your stay..They will charge for the water bottle.Not recommended.

As a frequent traveller I can confidently say that this hotel was the worst by far.The staff are very rude and impolite. I had booked the room for 3 nights but due to safety issues of the staff opening the room in the middle of the night with the master key, I had to check out the very next morning. The door doesn't have safety features like a tower bolt,so the ONLY method of locking is by the provided keycard. When I spoke to the front desk in the morning about this,they blatantly told me that the service boy denied opening the door and wasn't even interested in listening.They very rudely turned their faces as I was talking to them. Even the amenities they provided were used - the tissue in the bathroom was almost completely over and the coffee sachets were ripped open. To sum it up I would say this is the worst hotel I have been to with highly rude and untrained staff and it possess SAFETY ISSUES. Not recommendable at all.

Hotel rooms were good as we booked 3 rooms, we checked in at 9.30 pm after visit of Brindavan Garden, hot water was available 24 hrs. Water bottle was not kept in one room and glasses were not kept in one room. No restaurant, staff not help in arranging food so we had to go nearest Khan restaurant to have food at night 11 pm which was good restaurant. Even reception staff denied to give plates in room. He not allowed to exchange room- E.g. we had booked 3 rooms for 7 people so friends wanted to sleep 4 - 3 in 2 rooms and wanted to use one room in morning for freshen up only. But reception staff was asking extra 500/- Rs. per person in room as we booked 3,2,2 adults in 3 room so he said you can't sleep more in one room. What rubbish..! He was not having any problem as already we booed 3 rooms for 7 adults so if we sleep in one room also, what was his loss. No breakfast provided although we paid for booking, he said it will come after 8 am and we wanted to go early 7 am. No tea was also given.

I had last been at Golden Castle when it was under Treebo more than two years ago, so my reviews will be based on that first experience which was very positive. The hotel has changed (worsened) a lot since then and seems to be running on a shoestring budget. Everything that could go wrong, did on my recent stay. We had to change room because the AC wasn't working properly and in the new one, the AC made intermittent noises but we decided to let it pass. Poor staff responsiveness, staff having noisy conversations in the corridor, torn bedsheets (replacement was requested, which were also slightly torn), non-functioning tea kettle (again replacement was requested, which was broken but worked), delayed and limited breakfast, no lunch/dinner because the restaurant was supposedly being "renovated". If you are a new, first time visitor and are okay with or can manage with such an experience, it's another matter. For us, this was for sure our last stay at the hotel. Can't imagine going back after this, especially the way our fond memories from the last stay have been wiped out.
