If you are looking for a stay with in Mysore city near Jagmohan Palace, there are couple of options . My sales staff have booked the hotel for me for a night stay. I found it very basic, and its fine for a good one night stay. There is a road side Idly shop near to this place, which sells wonderful hot Idlis. I would go again to Mysore to have the taste of those Idlis!

They tried to scam me several time. They don't have Wi-Fi and they will find everyday new excuses for not give it to you! (I stayed 3 night) The staff is rude! They tried to overprice you multiple times. The rooms are old and the building is very noisy. The doors of the bathroom not close well and make a lot of noise in every room, you will hear when people go to bathroom for the big noise of the door... There are better and cheaper hotels nearby!

I stayed for a night but prominent points to observe were no towel, no soap, no peace. Room was clean, bed sheet was clean but blanket was not. Too much noise around reception area spoiled the stay. No hot water in bathroom. Location is good. CRT television of old age, older A/C.

During my recent trip to Mysore I stayed at the hotel for a night for seeing Mysore Dusshera. The hotel is right in the centre of the city, just behind the Palace and close to the are gallery. The room tariff is quite low. The rooms are neat, well maintained and the staff helpful and cheerful. The accommodation is good value for money for staying with no frills. However the hotel does not have its own restaurant. One has to go to the main road for food. The hotel also does not have wifi facility.
