What's Good: Well, to start off with, the rooms were good, the resort was very spacious and big to take a stroll, swimming pool was neatly maintained, spa facilities met expectations. The ambience was warm, calm, soothing in itself. The food was very good. The buffet at the breakfast stole our hearts away. By far the best of the varieties that i have found. Overall a very good stay. Thanks windflower:)
What needs to improve : There could have been some evening events and HI Tea may be like other resorts.

What's Good: We first visited windflower Mysore in 2007 just my husband and me and we loved it , after 7 years this place is not great at all and we had our 5 year old son with us this time ... its just plain slow and the staff over all is just so disinterested about every thing ... - The people at the reception are just so dull and have no interest in sharing what the resort has to offer . Especially when they see a kid with you. - Food service is super slow and the staff couldn't be bothered at the restaurant . - I have been to the windflower spa a lot of times , including coorg , pondi and mysore previously , but this time it was not as great . The staff was in a hurry , they finished like 15 mins before time . - With all the mosquitoes around I asked for a repellent for the room and it never came . - Oh and we had loud Music playing until 12:30 at night , as they had some open air party , so the all the quite you were expecting at the foothills of Chamundi that can take a hike . So basically expect a lazy and ignorant staff which is least bit interested .So be ready to ask for anything atleast twice and you will get it without a smile . They make you feel like they are doing you a favor for coming and staying there ...

What's Good: The room service was quite slow and inefficient. Our cable, AC and room phone wasn't working which took several calls and trips to the reception to fix. There weren't enough tea and coffee satchets for 3 people. If there is an electric kettle in the room, then one must ensure that there is sufficient coffee, milk etc to use the same. When we called to ask for more, we were provided with tea instead of tea satchets. Such minor irritants spoiled the experience.

What's Good: Buffet breakfast could have a better in terms of spread, vegetarian deserts & NO eggless cakes & donuts served which would made it just perfect to the kids

It's one of the best properties to stay in Mysore in the foothills of Chamundi Temple. Very nice and quiet place and it's a cottage only resort, which gives it a unique feel. The cottages are two storied and if you get the upper story cottage it's got an amazing view. The lower story cottage has got a rainbath, so either ways you get a good experience. The rooms are huge and the washrooms are quite big. The deluxe rooms have got their own sitting room and an attached bedroom, and you will never feel cramped for space. Food is decent, not very great and the room service is quite slow but you won't feel it. The cottages encircle a lotus pond and it gets quite serene in the evenings when you can enjoy the evening in the attached balcony. Very green and the in-house pets make the stay very memorable, almost as if staying in a forest retreat. Special mention to the Spa which is one of the best I have seen in a long time.

Me and my wife were looking for a weekend getaway from Bangalore. We were looking for a place which is quite, romantic and beautiful! We luckily found this place while searching online. The Windflower Resorts & Spa is a distance away from the Mysore city. Its almost at the foot hills off the Chamundi hill. The surrounding area is covered with vegetation and very few commercial establishment. The check-in experience was very nice. We wanted to choose the room and the hotel staff gladly allowed us to have a look. We chose a room which had the view of Chamundi hill from the entrance and from the balcony the water front. The room - The rooms are big and well maintained. The bathroom too is big and beautiful with lot of natural light coming in. Its one off the biggest room I have seen in any resort. The wooden flooring and decor of the room was very nice. Room service - Room service was quick, weather you are ordering food and anything else they would at once attend to you. The resort - Its very well maintained with lots of greenery. It was really relaxing to walk around the resort in the evening. Small water bodies cuts across the dining area with ducks swimming in them. The sound of water and birds chirping calms you down. The food - Many a times in resorts which are far away from the city, food and hotel services are a bit disappointing. But not in this case, the buffet spread was nice and quite tasty!

I loved this luxurious hotel. My huge bedroom and wonderful bathroom were superb, with balcony overlooking peaceful watergarden. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel is set in beautiful tropical gardens.

A nice serene quiet resort with big rooms at the foot hills of Chamundi Temple. The ambience and surrounding is close to nature and is the ideal place to relax. The talking parrot and the Ducks add to the surrounding and the small hidden swimming pool is unique in itself. Wish they had a Gym which is missing. Apparently, it is an old property and the Service needs to be improved. Overall a nice place and value for money

Recently we stayed at this property for the first time. We had booked a "Studio Room" and we were glad we did. We had a quiet, large room with a huge bathroom, great amenities and a very comfortable bed. We also had a small balcony overlooking the courtyard. The service was excellent. The restaurant Olive Garden had excellent food with very attentive servers. We very highly recommend this hotel to those who like a luxury stay...we don't think you will be disappointed. We hope to be back soon.
