What's Good: Good peaceful location, nice and spacious open areas. Excellent staff and service. Only flip side is that it looks an old property on the inside and in particular washrooms of some rooms are quite run down and in desperate need of a refurbish.

Nice place with an old world charm. Just spent one night here. The rooms are comfortable and the food was also good. The staff was attentive. On the whole pretty good but if you want a view of the Naini lake you migt be disappointed.

I came here in June. The job here is very worthless. The cleaning of the very poor staff Behaviar. Is Very cheap very poor food and expensive we have to alert everyone don't book here please search any other hotels

I have booked 3 rooms, for 2 nights(15th and 16th June), for my family. Let me brief the panic story : WORST WELCOME 1.Package that i bought, includes (Welcome drink + Stay + Breakfast). Even after confirming the booking they were not bothered about what the WELCOME DRINK means and cleary said that it is neither communicated to us, nor we provide to our guests. And finally, we came to know that plain tap water is the MOST favored WELCOME drink of the hotel 2. At the time of checkin, i got to know that only part payment was done by my booking Agent(TripClues : Their policy is to pay in coimplete once the guest checkin to the hotel). At this point Mr. Amitabh(So called MD of the hotel) start telling us his worst experiences. Conclusion was he can't let us checkin, until TripClues(Partner of OYO), paid the ampount in full. I, with my family(including two infants), waited for almost one and a half an hour, in getting the thing settled, then we were allowed to check in. In between Mr. Amitabh created immense panic, showing the insecurity of payments. We feel so much cheated at that point of time and cursed ourselves for choosing this hotel. PANIC HISTORY 1. We were not told about any policy/services available in hotel. Day 1, After 10 PM, we requested for hot milk for our infants. Then only we got to know that the services are available till 10 PM only. When we bought milk from market outside and asked hotel staff to boil it, they straight away refused. Then i talked to the hotel owner lady, she also told me that their electric cattle can never be cleaned, if they put milk in that. SERIOUSLY. WE WERE LEFT HELPLESS. We bought packed fruit juice for our kids, so that they can be feed in night. We know the consequences of feeding juice will impact the infant health, in this rainy season. But we're left with no other options. 2. Rooms were not cleaned by them on next day. On askinbg the reason they said you have not left the keys. (However any single key can open any of the ROOM, we tested it.) No cleaning even a single time in two days. 3. Day 2, in the evening, my brother asked for drinking water. After calling up multiple times, plain tap water provided to us. 4. We proactively asked for the breakfast timing, were told that breakfast is from 8:30 AM to 10 AM only. We bought Rope way tickets for 8:40 AM, for Day 3. In the evening of Day 2, we communicated this to the hotel staff the we need to leave by 8:00 AM for rope way, you please arrange some breakfast in the morning. He clearly said YES. On Day 3, morning at 8:00 AM, when we asked for the breakfast, he told us that it can only be at 8:30 AM, not before that. When we told him , that what about the message conveyed to you yesterday? He didn't replied and suggested the timings only. We left for rope way empty stomach on Day3. Any how we managed to came back hotel by 10:15 AM, then we again asked for the breakfast. Manager ridiculously replied that time 10:00 AM has been past, Sorry. 5. The only thing they were keen and proactively did, was calling us for the check out. they told to check out any how before 11:00 PM. Fortunately we got Oyo executives there at the time of checkout, and we communicated everything and asked them not to tie up with this kind of hotels, because we only booked the hotel because of OYO tag. I'll never recommend this hotel. Please, please avoid it.

to start with Good things about property 1. Location : Not far from Mall Road, easily traceable and reachable. You get saved from traffic issues as it is just at the start of Nanital. 2. Staff: Very helpful, polite and cooperative staff. Bad experiences i had 1. Checkin time: Checkin time is 12:00 but i was not offered room till 12:20. I reached at place around at 10 and it was a long 2 hours wait for me. I know time of checkin was 12 thus quitely waited for 2 hours after a tiring journey of 6 hours. at 12:00 when i checked with the management their response was "We donot have Eject button like computer to take out guest". Instead of pacifying or showing some courtesy the response was unexpected. 2. Water issue: At the time of checkin was being informed that we have water crisis you have to manage with on demand buckets. Why can't such kind of critical issues be put on booking website or informed with the booking confirmation. It was not that issue happened that day only. 3. Wifi: Attached is the screenshot of go ibibo clearly stating availability of WIFI but one was not available at hotel. 4. Fan: Poorly maintained rooms, fan was so noisy that you cannot sleep and it Swing string was not there. When i reported the issue to management the response was "Switch OFF fan you do not need it. We donot have fans in all room". What the hell i need fan thats why i switched it on how can you decide whether i need fan or not. Instead of trying to resolve such arguments really spoiled the holiday mood which we went to enjoy. 5. Amentiies: Basic amenities Drinking water, soap and lenin like things we had to ask at reception. Firstly checkin was given late and not sure what kind of checks did they made but soap, towels were missing 6. Breakfast time: Timing of breakfast mentioned was 8:00 but was not served till 9. What if someone has to leave early. 7. Insects: Problem with locality or whatever but there was a huge spider in room. Staff was prompt in listening and helping remove that from room but my 8 year daughter was scared a lot.

the hotel was ok but food was worse. Room and bathroom was not clean and nothing was totally working. Not good experience at that time. I prefer cheap hotel if I will get this kind of facilities. Although staff behaviout was very nice as I said.
