An excellent place to stay and enjoy the beauty of Nainital. An amazing aura of the British banglow, mesmerising view on Naini lake and the courteous staff, made the holidays memorable. A must stay property
The hotel fair light
by GrandTour780529 on
It is best hotel which is situated at maximum hieght and the all 7 viwes comes in the way of the fair light resort. It is located nearest to doordarshan tower. The view from this is the best view. The temperature is lower and We will advise you to go only at The fair light when visit to nainital.
Thsese people are committing fraud along with Yatra.com
by sangyas2017 on
Please don't book this hotel from Yatra.com. We booked it yesterday for two rooms for 2 nights through Yatra.com and even after making a full payment of 13,000 rupees, we were told that they have no booking under our name. We were cheated by these people and Yatra.com who could not offer us any other alternative hotel to stay in Nainital. We ask TripAdvisor also to please remove this hotel from their portal so that innocent people are not robbedof their hard earned money and their vacation is not spoiled in the same manner as ours. Shame on Yatra.com as they claim to be India's leading travel portal but they don't care a bit about the customer and don't think twice before cheating on them. Please never book this hotel online, specially through Yatra.com.
Amidst the tranquillity
by Megha P on
If tranquillity is what you are searching for, this is a perfect destination. Situated at a height from where one can have a panoramic view of the entire valley accompanied by the magnificent mountains. A small walk in early morning can lead us to view the snow capped himalayan ranges. Just 9km from there is a perfect place for birdwatchers amidst the dence forest. The fair light trail also caters to guest with extreme hospitality and excellent food that would make you stay there for even longer time.
Your dream house in the hills...
by tushar_mokashi on
I just loved this place... Every day I stepped out of the hotel, I really wanted to go back to the hotel at the earliest and just be there for hours together. The view, the feel, the ambience is so peaceful and soothing that you want to stay back and have more of it... Coming to the review: What is Good? (Well almost EVERYTHING...) 1. The feeling of staying in an Old British Bungalow is amazing 2. The view is Stunning 3. Very Clean and Spacious rooms 4. Friendly staff (and there are just a few people... no rush) 5. Simple and Tasty food What's "not that good"? 1. Far away (5km) from the town (good only for those who have their own vehicle) 2. Not many options on the menu (Non-vegetarians dinner orders @ morning hrs) 3. Credit/ Debit Cards not accepted (so better be ready with the cash!) 4. No market or shops near by (so when you go back get everything that you need) 5. Bonfire not allowed (but thats a Govt. order - so can't blame the hotel) 6. Service is slow... but i guess thats how it is in the hills they take their own seat time!!! Clearly the Good overpowers "the not so good"... therefore its a highly highly recommended place... I bet you'll have the best time ever!!! and would always come back to this place when in Nainital...
Stay at the ground floor... preferably in the room closest to the lake view... be careful with the children (u always have to be)
