Beautifully located in the midst of the mountains, the property is nice. The stay is comfortable but that's where the trouble starts. Owner has left the property in the hands of it's care takers and it seems doesn't care about the ongoings. Care takers have a field day ripping gullible guests in the end. Our case: We were happily offered options for tea/ coffee/ snacks without any mention of the added costs. Mid night snacks, tea etc were always available and I had decided that I am going to write a raving review. One example among many; evening tea was offered with paneer pakoras (two plates/ 16 pieces in total). Everything went well and we were really impressed with the service. All hell broke loose when the time came for our check-out. We were extended a bill for additional expenses; Price per cup of Tea: Rs. 150 Paneer Pakoras per plate (8 pieces): Rs. 800 On top of this, we were charged for an additional room which we never took and in fact, it was rented out to some other guests who had popped in at the last moment. The caretaker was not willing to share the owner's number and kept on pressing us to make the payment. It took over an hour of arguments that the owner's number was shared. Upon calling, we received a very nonchalant response and further arguments ensued. A lot happened afterwards and the final outcome was that the place is a ripoff never to be visited again.

The hotel stay is no doubt decent, but the food was surprisingly good as well. Quite hapoy with out experience. The location is very nice, luckily we got a room with a good view. A special mention for the friendly staff.

First of all, this a nice relaxed cottage to stay with group. Choose this place if you are 2 to 3 families and need a place to rejuvenate with close to nature. Do not go with expectations of hotel/restaurant like food. Rather, I should say this a well maintained home stay with all modern facilities. Bonfire area is also well maintained. Only thing to be improved is the food quality. Caretaker who prepares the food should be taught how to make good dilli style home food Secondly, place is 15 kms from Mall Road, Nainital in Pangot area. Overall, relaxed place and you should definitely choose if you want to spend time with family and closed ones in a relaxed place away from cities hurdle and curdles.

The approach to the property is very bad. The last leg downhill on foot is too dangerous, Specially for children. There is no railing too. You might slip in rainy day. Rooms are very dusty and floor dirty. Very expensive for the price charged. No activity, a dusty covered pool table which does not have accessories, useless. Bathroom fittings work in reverse order. Beds are poor, mattress worse. Quilts stained. No parking. No arrangement for driver. Mosquitoes and insects. Waste of money.
