The mountains are all about the location and this property scores highly on that factor. We reached on Diwali day and the staff organised a puja and fireworks in the evening so that the guests didnt miss out on the festivities back home. We stayed in a cottage (208) which had an amazing view of the valley. Their garden is well maintained and offers very good views of the surrounding mountains - one could easily sit here for hours and soak in the sun. Around 4.30 in the afternoon they used to play Mozart (the property had speakers placed strategically) which i found quite relaxing ! The staff was courteous and quite prompt in their response. We had a mixed experience with the food - ala carte was much better than their buffet. The exception was the barbecue which they organised on one of the evenings where we met the owner who happened to be there. He was kind enough to show us around the property which hardly anyone does these days ! There is always room for improvement and in their case renovating the bathrooms would be a good idea. Overall, we had a memorable stay !

My recent visit in oct we stated at challets naldera The service and hospitality is top class.Food quality is good prices on little higher side but this propeprty is on top of hills so we understood the cost factor too. We had a small issue as we booke from make my trip for two adults and two children but due to some miscommunication hotel people charges for extra bed which we were not willing to pay as we already booked for a family room we raised this issue with make my trip and the owner of this place and the owner responded immediately and told us that we can leave without paying anything as he will sort this matter with make my trip. Its true that people from hills have golden hearts HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ..WILL VISIT THEM SOON

Went there for a evening Coffee and possibly a dinner, but looking at their service level had to come back after coffee. 1: For that tiny area called 360 restaurant, they charge you cover fee of 400 per person. Even if you wish to put a step on that floor you need to pay 400 first. 2: Most of the menu is functional only in their restricted business hours otherwise you can have only couple of items of the menu. 3: Biggest put off, they follow unethical business practices of charging GST at 18% whereas the govt mandated GST rate is 5% only for restaurants.

We booked this property based purely on TA reviews and were expecting a world class premium mountain resort. The resort, IMHO was quite decent. The log cabins look nice and the gardens are quaint and whimsical. The problem is the upkeep and the service. We booked through a travel website for an apartment and a room and were promptly punished for it by being assigned a couple of 'apartments' accessed through a service tunnel, away from the main building, that were in shambles. On protesting, we were given a lower 2 bedroom unit on the lower floor. We were 2 families and while we did want to be next to each other, sharing a unit was not our plan! Still, we compromised. The room seems nice and the pictures are not deceptive, but the fact is that the drawers do not come out well, the toilets are stained and obviously ancient and the mattresses are uncomfortable. There are also a fair no. of creepy-crawlies on the floor and our 'extra bed' was a mattress on the floor! The restaurant is fairly decent, but overpriced for the quality. On the flip side, the pool is really nice and the staff seemed untrained but were polite. We actually checked out the next day despite having paid up for 2 nights. The Pristine Peaks, barely 4 km away offered a much better experience.
