I stayed here for a week and it was a great hostel for the price. It did include free breakfast for me and it was delicious with milk tea or coffee. The beds were nice but I would avoid using the blanket. We did have an issue with mosquitos so make sure you bring your bug spray. I actually had a case of Delhi belly at this hostel which had me in bed for 3 days but Im glad that I was here rather than any other hostel that I looked into. The bathroom was somewhat clean but definitely needed a good clean and dusting in the common area definitely wouldnt hurt.

pros: What I liked the most about Amigosindia hostel is people. I met really cool people most of whom are locals. At the beginning I was a bit sceptical as the majority of the guests were locals but in the end I was so happy to meet them; those were the most fun, open-minded and warm people. The atmoshere in the hostel is very positive with almost like a family-oriented environment. I felt very safe and comfortable. The staff is very friendly as well and takes care of the guests well. My favorite guy was the one who would make breakfast every morning, very positive and funny. The location was quite good as well, near Qutub minar metro station. You can walk in 40 mins or you can take a tuk-tuk the price ranging 10 to 30 ruppee per person in a public tuc tuc depending on the time of the day. There are plenty of street vendors and little shops in the area. cons: The hostel was quite dirty to European standards. I've been working in tourism and I can firmly say that I would rate the cleanliness as 4 out of 10. The kitchen, the shower and all the commons areas is dieing for a deep clean. I was also a bit uncomfortable using a blanket without a sheet on top of it and it was very thick, which makes it unlikely that it gets washed after each guest. The cleaning ladies come in at 5:30 am for some reason and I was woken up by the same a few times as they were cleaning the bathroom. . Normally, cleaning time happens after 9 am in the hostels and starts from the common areas. In the kitchen sink I would often find dirty unwashed dishes. The room was chilly also as the window was broke and could not be closen. I tried to close it along with another woman but we didnt succeed. There is a big trashbin but to open it you have to open up the lid by hand (the lid itself was quite dirty as well). It would have been convenient to put a trash bin which is when you push the bottom by leg the lid opens up automatically so that you won't have to wash your hands every time after touching the lid. Another thing is, I was visiting for a couple of days for a seminar in the city so it was important for me to have breakfast as early as possible. The breakfast time starts at 8 am but the guy who makes breakfast is never there on time, often half past 8. It is not surprising though because he works very long hours often until 2 or even 3 am that I saw him up. Also on the website it says that the breakfast is included but in reality it is not. I think the best way upon check in would be to ask whether it's included or not so that you could plan your budget. The breakfast offered is really cheap but to I would prefer to know in advance as I tend to spend my last money prior to my last day except for some cash left for transport. Another thing, maybe I should have mentioned it in the beginning is: the owner of the guesthouse is a friendly and a nice guy so when he offered me a massage I refused the first time, but when he insisted next time I agreed. I expected it to be just a back or neck massage but it turned out to be a half-naked massage with oil on your body including intimate parts gently massaged. For me that was too intimate but since I agreed to massage I didn't say anything. I would suggest though to let other guests know when offering that it is a full body massage and would need to take off your clothes as oil is involved. I have mixed feelings about the place. I really enjoyed my time but I cannot say that I had a wonderful experience. Maybe if I were to be back I would only be back for one night and only if the people I met were still there. Because of that, I do not recommend this place for backpackers at this point.

Experience-I am living in Dubai for the past 20 years, planned a visit to India and was looking to get something which suits my standard. Oh God! There are some places in the world which are far beyond standard and one of them is Amigos in Your India. Avinash what a guys he is, he is a Batman, Superman, Shaktiman (Indian version of Superhero) and what do I say for Manisha she is not only a good human but she is a great artist. Must Stay Place If You Plan For India.

This is a cozy backpacker house. Its in a quiet area and a good place to crash and recharge. The price is insanely good for what they offer and the two brothers are friendly and informative about the area and their business. The only problem you may run into is finding it. To get here, take the metro to Chartitupar, cross the skybridge then head down the stairs. You can walk its not to far (1km-2km) but itll be easier to get a rickshaw. Look for the enclave sign, theyre located in the C section.

Amigos India hostel is pretty good place to stay with great people to hang around with. Hostel is located in Chattarpur Enclave which is quite far from the city centre, however subway access is okayish from the place ( it is only a kilometer away, one can take shared threewheeler for 10 rupees from Qutub Minar Metro Station and get down at Chattarpur ( 5-7mins) Enclave and then 5 mins walk to the hostel) Wifi access is good round the clock, Common room is really pretty with all the art work around you plus you have huge TV at your disposal for watching any games or movies you like. One great thing is.... community Kitchen...you can cook your own food here as they have provide all basic kitchen requirements and go chef here! Bathrooms are really good with all the space and good pressure in showers! People who manage the place, makes you feel really welcomed and ofcourse you can plan your trip with tips from them, if thats what you are looking for! Overall a good place to stay off the city center!
