This hotel is in partnership with Air India, so unfortunatley a large number of guests are sent there due to flight delays and other problems. This is unfortunate as the reviews reflect the understandably infuriating situation the guests are in when they are taken here. The hotel is large, and was once very grand but is now tatty. My room was large and clean, with a hot shower, fridge, bed linens, towel, TV, air con and tea and coffee facilities. The window looked out over beautiful gardens with some great birdlife, including peacocks, parakeets, plovers and kingfishers. The food is buffet, and gives a selection of veg indian dishes with a dessert. Soft drinks and alcohol are not available, but bottled drinking water is free. There is an outdoor pool that looks disused, but the gardens are really pleasant to sit in and stroll around, given the location. It is very close to the airport so great for easy access when flying at difficult hours. There is also a gym which I didn't go in. The staff are all good natured, polite and have surprisingly good humour. It's a strange place, away from any shops or other buildings, and does need some TLC on the building. But contrary to other reviews, the rooms are clean, quiet, cool and comfortable, and it beats the airport floor by a mile.

We were there for a night, very close to the airport. A beautiful property, very badly maintained. How I wish they did not allow the property to go to seed Staff is excellent, they go out of their way to help and serve. We met some very good staff, but, what can they do by themselves.

Got to stay here due to airline strikes, and whilst it was a free overnight stay, it was absolutely disgraceful. I was apprehensive to touch anything in the room and even to sleep on, let alone IN the bed. So got a towel and put it on the lounge and nodded off there for a few hours. Perhaps acceptable to locals but certainly not to an outsider.

Air India was supposed to give a room at Holiday Inn airport.. but since they own this sh!thole...we were sent here without our knowledge... Dangerous.. VILE.. disgusting. I honestly dont know how this hasnt been closed down. I walked in the room..5 mins later back to reception to leave, they even had the audacity to ask why we were leaving?? Do you want a list??? Make sure you check you are going before getting in a car that Air India send you in. Airport floor seriously better option.
