DISGUSTING DO NOT STAY HERE. BED BUGS!!
by goodtimes2016

Thinking about waking up in this hotel, although it was 3 weeks ago, and my skin starts crawling. I woke up bright and early for a 4am pickup to the airport, flipped on the lights, and was greeting by the sight of TONS of HUGE bedbugs crawling EVERYWHERE. It was absolutely disgusting. As I checked out I told them about my experience, and they weren't surprised. I asked if they already knew about it and they shrugged. I was so angry.
Prior to the bedbug incident I was already pretty disgusted by the room, even after having traveled in budget accommodations throughout SE Asia for the prior 2 years, this was definitely a lowlight. Disgusting dirty sheets and pillows, horrendous bathroom with un-namable scum, broken toilet seat, no hot water. There were literally animal paw prints on the sheets who knows why, so I had gotten fresh sheets and changed them, and just tried to avoid looking at the mattress as I did so. I question why I didn't just check out and find a new room from the jump, but I had taken a 12 hour night train for a 6 am arrival and had carried my bags up the 4 or 5 flights of stairs and the thought of moving exhausted me, so, my bad. I guess I figured I'd be there less than 24 hour so why bother?
Thanks to the lovely stay at the Hare Krishna Hotel I got to arrive home with bites all over my body, and suitcases that had to stay in the garage before everything could be taken to a laundromat for hot water washing and drying. So that was fun too.
Shuddering as I write this and recall this awful hotel.

Filthy, infested. Stay elsewhere

Couldn't get into my usual hotel as full so went to the Hare Krishna guest house. What a mistake. For 900 rupees I had to ask for clean sheets, stand in a chair to turn the AC on/off and wasn't temperature adjustable, fan wouldn't turn off, shower not working properly, Tv not working. It was a filthy room, a bit of dusting wouldn't go amiss. They were renovating the opposite room so had noise and them shouting all night except between 3am and 5:30am so couldn't sleep. On top of it opened up my rucksack in the morning to find cockroaches had taken up residence in my bag. Certainly don't recommend. The rooms they show on the line are not what I got. Moved out early next morning. I was disgusted with the place! I took photos of the room but cannot upload from my iPad to show other potential guests. The only good thing was the location

Do NOT stay in room 405
by 7654travel16

Room 405 has a horrific bed bug infestation. Lots of people say it's rare to be able to actually find/see them.....we found minimum 40 bugs, on pillows, around pillows, clothing on us, clothing on the bed, walls, headrests , on travel bags, in travel bags. It was horrific. We had to spend nearly 80 to get everything washed that morning....and I mean everything! Then again in Rajasthan 6 days later as I wasn't convinced they were eliminated. A guy staying downstairs in room below us told us he's seen around 10 travellers come out if that room saying the same hing so the staff must be fully aware and still allowing people to stay in there. The bugs were HUGE and everywhere! This is clearly not a new infestation and we have been covered in bites. No refund provided nor any money offered towards laundry. (Even after showing them 4 tissues full of bugs that I had found!)
In general it was an awful stay, there is no rooftop cafe as advertised, the staff weren't great, the room wasn't ready for us on arrival, the sheets dirty, bathroom stunk of urine when we were shown to it.
Just don't stay here, for you own sake! There are far better guest houses to stay at from what I saw. Cleaner, more friendly and hopefully bed bug free!
Happy travels all X
