Reason For Rating : Good check in, good room, close to airport. good staff behaviour
by Monalisa Biswal on May 06,2019
What's Good: It was nice. Breakfast was really good.
What needs to improve : check in experience. initially wrong room was allocated.
Reason For Rating : we booked a superior room with king size bed. we arrived at hotel around 1.30-2am. we were offered a room with 2 twin beds. The executive at reception said that this is only booked through yatra. After a long talk he finally gave us a superior room and said that it was blocked for someone else. It was given to us as a favor. In the bill also Rs 4961 was mentioned while we have paid Rs.7139. Rest of the facility was good.

Hi My husband planned a one day staycation at the Lodhi to gift it as a surprise for me n our daughter.. Here goes the feedback: The front desk executive can barely manage to smile or show some spirit to see guests arriving... The conceiarge manager was polite enough to greet while delivering the baggage to our room. The deluxe suite with a plunge pool has no blinds/curtains so privacy of any couple is pretty questionable n when the guest manager was called up for the same, the explanation was rude n straight forward. We checked in around 4.30 so checked before ordering snacks from a reputed restaurant outside n we were assured it's allowed n the food would be delivered till the room. Once the food arrived, the duty manager,Gaurav (or Saurav, please pardon me ) was rude n coldly told us it was against hotel policies n since the food was already there demanded that we personally step out till their main gate n collect the parcel.. We were in the pool n literally my husband had to shower n go downstairs to collect it...(the guests check in to have a relaxing n calming stay but seems that's none of their business) My brother n sister were invited for dinner by us n the lady at the front desk (yachismita )couldn't stop arguing regarding the i.d card n cudnt wait for my brother to charge his phone to share the same.We were called up asking how much time will they be upstairs in the room(seriously?) Since we went for a long drive n there was huge traffic way back, the lady at the ELAN restaurant was kind enough to take our order for dining over a whatsapp n that really saved us time since we had a hungry kid. The food was amazing n service by staff was really impressive. Special mention to the Chef n his team. Mr.Ravinder (we met him over breakfast next morning) was the only person who was genuinely interested in hearing us out n taking feedback in a positive manner...he not only apologised on behalf of others but also made sure that we were assured no such future issues... A little portion of plain dal n two tawa rotis for the kid are quoted as 1800 plus taxes...a guest who can pay 23k for a suite n 5k for dinner can also pay for daughter's food but that's where you lose the opportunity to win hearts.. We have been to properties all over the world and realised some properties strive for customers Delight while others just struggle to maintain serving what's required..and this is a huge parameter for a guest... Sorry if it's too detailed a review but honestly the experience of the stay wasn't what we were expecting it to be!! No hard feelings n hoping it's taken in a positive spirit

I visited Perbacco with couple of colleagues and must say from the time we entered , we were blown away by the service . Nikhil the restaurant manager , met us at entry and got us a great table and also was kind enough to suggest a nice cocktail and aperitif , Rahul Manish and vikram helped us with the dinner . They all were so positive and we felt safe having dinner , and could see their smiles through their eyes . I guess one of the best wood fire pizzas , and the risotto are just the best on Delhi. If you wanna eat the best Italian with amazing service. Perbacco it is !!! Not to forget with Nikhil and his team , you feel your in Italy
Staying at this hotel is amazing . Please try once to expirence the same.
