I arrived at the Mohak Palace on my first day travelling Delhi. The area itself is located in a pretty rough area but also a bagpackers haven with hotels all around. I feel that in that department, I drew the short straw. The check in process was tedious and my booking confirmation on my phone wasnt enough so I had to go to a Internet cafe and print out my email (I had to pay for the print outs too for both nights!!!) I was shown my room which was on the third floor, the door opens by the key but at an angle so theres a bit of work in order to get in. The room itself looks okay but the bed does not look clean. The bed sheets are stained with God knows what which made the sleeping experience uncomfortable. The bathroom doesnt have toilet roll and the light switch doesnt stay on if its switched off. The hot water has to be requested 10 minutes in advance for a hot shower...I was also given two water bottles in my room which I didnt ask for and didnt use but I had to pay for. My advice is that if you want to stay in Delhi, pay a little extra and stay somewhere worthwhile and away from Pahar Ganj.

Hotel Mohak palace is an average place to stay with normal facilities. Please do not keep more expectations on service and amenities. But it is near to railway station which helped us to catch the train in last minute.

This hotel looks beautiful when you enter it, but once u go into the rooms, it looks slightly out dated. Other wise the staff are very good and you get very good service. location wise it is very close to the railway station.
