Nice place to stay in Paharganj

Location was good (metro and bus station are nearby and it takes approximately 15-20 minutes to get to the New Delhi train station). Plenty of restaurants nearby. Room was comfortable and clean, toilet as well. Although the street is noisy (typical one), there wasn't any noise coming from the outside of the streets to the room. There was enough of hot water. There is a nice rooftop terrace, not so much of a view but very peaceful. Wi fi was so-so, you could only pay with cash.
Good hotel as a base to explore Delhi

Nice hotel with good rooms, AC , comfy beds and we never had a problem with hot water. Staff were so helpful - our baggage was lost by the airline and they phoned and emailed multiple times trying to help us get it back! Thanks so much for helping us, meant we could enjoy our time in Delhi without being too stressed about the baggage. There is a travel desk at the hotel which is interesting, you can book you taxis / private drivers / airport pickups for reasonable prices (and to avoid scams and touts) but also they can push you to book a tour with them onwards from Delhi which we chose not to do - although we did take Rajs advice on where to travel (but took the train rather than a driver) and so far so good! There is a nice roof terrace to chill out and watch the sunset, apart from that not very many social areas (or that we could find at least) and no restaurant in the hotel (but they can order you food from another restaurant which is nice and affordable just takes a bit longer). Yes the street is a little dirty but its New Delhi so you dont expect any different, we found it to be safe and surprisingly not at all noisy in the room! Close to the main bazaar, Connaught place and New Delhi station (also a metro to get to old Delhi quickly). Overall a really nice stay, thank you Raj and everybody else!

Great hostel, friendly staff. Mr manoj was super helpful about the local area and sites. Nice rooftop and great location. Neat, clean and comfortable. Nice and social, with lots of young travellers. A+++++

Friendly clean and comfortable place to stay right in the centre of paharganj! Lovely and helpful owners. Beds clean and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble, extra blankets, hair dryer, late check out. Highly recommended!
Average hostel, but good location!

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Hindustan backpackers heaven whilst in New Delhi and were slightly shocked when we entered the room, it didn't look like the photographs on booking.com and there was an air con unit in a separate building which was making a dreadful noise. We asked to move rooms which happened instantly. The circular beds were slightly odd to sleep in and the bedding felt damp due to the cold. In the evening we asked for hot water and were told it was not working and had to have a bucket of water heated using a heating element. A redeeming factor was that the staff were brilliant and helped us with our onward travels. Overall positives and negatives for this hostel.

We had room 101 at the front of the hotel. We liked it and didn't find it too noisy
