To begin with; I am a budget traveler, a flash packer of sorts, and look for hotels in the $30 USD range. If I go over budget, no worries and if I find really cheap accommodations that suite me thats an added bonus. So far on this trip, November- December 2017, all the hotels I have stayed at are pretty much the same. No matter what price I paid (800 - 2000 INR) at any given hotel, I have found the cleanliness to be substandard, the rooms outdated and in need of serious remodeling and maintenance appears to be non existent. Typically the bedding, linen, pillows and towels are worn, stained and should be replaced. Hot water and water pressure can be an issue and I have at times skipped a shower. Amenities are totally lacking, mostly you get a roll of toilet paper and a bar of soap. Most budget hotels do not clean the rooms on a daily basis, seems to be upon request. Wi-Fi is hit or miss, some places it was quite good, others not so much. Never found much in the way of English language channels on the television so I did not watch it. As I traveled in December air-conditioning was unnecessary but I did turn on the fan from time to time to drown out noise and blow away mosquitoes. India is noisy, and I found most hotels to be as well, from a combination of street sounds, staff and guests. A visit from a mosquito or two was a nightly occurrence at just about every hotel I stayed at. Now to the review: This hotel is old and outdated but was probably very nice some years ago. The room was small but comfortable and the Wi-Fi worked surprising well. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they clean the rooms daily. Had to call the front desk to request hot water for the shower. Once the call was made there was plenty of it. They do provide in room dining but I did not try the food so I can not comment on it. Booked this hotel through booking.com for just over 2000 INR per night. A little expensive for what you get. There are dozens of similar hotels in the area. Would probably be wise to shop around a bit for a better price.

Park view is an average hotel to stay dnt knw abt food coz havent tried but rooms n bathrooms are ok n no parking facility or lift in hotel its a small budget hotel . Location is good if u r staying in delhi for shopping its in karol bagh many dry fruit stores and shopping for marriage function is easy .since many shops are walking distance.

I stayed for a few nites at this excellent hotel in Karol Bagh. The manager and staff are very helpful and friendly.. They helped with taxi and getting money exchanged nearby. The area is next to an excellent market as well as easy access to main roads and rail in Delhi. As a westerner this was my first hotel experience in India and I found it quite interesting.. The food service was excellent ...It is a downtown location and looks over a private Park across the street. The rate was good and the room was very well kept with vintage teak furniture.

Terrible experience, avoid. Found bugs in the toilet and room, decoration was terrible and the staff were just NOT NICE. Not even a smile, a thanks, a you are welcome, nothing at all. Besides they tried to sell us stuff all the time. What's more they offered us a tour, bargaining like in the market for everything. No manners at all given the guy that was in the reception that morning (12th of February 2017)

This hotel was the best hotel I stayed in during my vacation, room service was very good and the food is excellent. There is a huge market if you go down the road and a nice restaurant called the " Punjab sweet shop ". All the rooms are double so it is ideal for couples, the bathroom is quite nice. room sizes vary as there is a big room middle room and another room that I didn't stay in which is probably quite nice as well, free wifi you have to ask at the desk for a code. Overall a excellent hotel and quite cheap.
