Definitely would not stay here again nor recommend to anyone. They just had no clue how to deal with western tourists. During our two night stay we never felt comfortable or safe, and were happy to change to a much nicer place on the main bazaar street. On a few occasions people tried to force their way into our room, rather than knock. Luckily the door locked. Upon opening the door, they would apologise and then leave. The airport pickup we arranged never came through which is not a great start to a new country. Early on one morning, we were woken up and were demanded money from the manager even though we had fully paid through Agoda. After the situation was resolved (10min later) we were told we could go back to our room, but not even an apology or smile was given. The rooms were quite dirty. Walking bare feet resulted in an accumulation of dirt on our feet. I do hope they learn a bit more about western hospitality and I'm sure any locals staying would appreciated it as well. Over two years of budget traveling through Asia, this is definitely at the bottom end of the list... We've never felt that unsafe before.
