What needs to improve : The location is really bad and even the washrooms were dirty

The best hospitality I experienced in India
by goddesskusari77 on
I can only say good things about this hotel. They took me in when every hotel kicked me out. Staffs are so friendly and welcoming. They treated foreigners with kindness and respect. One of the employees Rosy was such a sweetheart who always asked me if I was doing OK. As a guest, I felt so safe and pampered regardless of the outside atmosphere. Their chef is also excellent. Everything I ordered was absolutely delicious. Coffee is authentic and good too. I really loved their alfredo pasta and egg curry. The hotel building is very spacious with high ceiling. Wifi is strong. Hot water is constant. Location is also good. I will never forget this hotel and the hospitality theyve provided me in the middle of the difficult times. It was like an oasis. Thank you
No rooftop restaurant!
by MunichMom on
This is whats left of the rooftop restaurant :-D. It closed years ago! Food can be ordered and brought to the room from the basement kitchen though. We did that once. My daughter and I stayed here with friends for several days. Theres no heat unless you complain and then are lucky enough to get an electric space heater. There were little cockroaches in the bathroom every morning, despite the mothballs they put in the sink, which does nothing to improve the smell either. The room was always full of smoke from the fires burning in the street outside, despite the towel we stuck in the window gap to cut down on the noise and smell. The toilet paper roll was so small that we just went and bought our own in a shop. Living in the Delhi slum was an interesting experience, but Ill stay somewhere else the next time.

This hotel was clean and tidy. The staff were helpful with good service.there is a lift which is helpful for those who do not like stairs. It is right in the Bazaar area of New Delhi so very busy but the noise levels were not too bad.we had a room on the 2nd floor with windows which opened out onto the main street which was great for viewing the hustle and bustle.
The first and second floor has the best internet, try to get a room that isn't facing the streets.

Do not accept Room No 309 as the AC fitted in it leaks like a waterfall.
