We arrived to Hotel Vintage on our 1st night of our trip in India! After landing at a crazy hour of the morning Sunny and the staff couldn't of been more obliging on arrival! We were showed to our room and settled in straight away! We stayed for 2 nights leaving to travel around India for 3 weeks, we left one of our bags at the hotel which was no trouble at all!! It was great knowing that we had somewhere reliable and comfortable to come back to after our trip! Couldn't recommend Sunny and his team high enough!!

The only reason Vintage Inn doesn't earn one star is that the price, for a great location in central Delhi, is very low. The back-street in which it is situated is pretty squalid and smelly, even by Delhi standards but that would not be important if the room itself had been acceptable. When spending so little, I do not expect palatial accommodation. What I do expect from a budget property, though, is a bed that is comfortable enough to sleep on, for the important elements of the room, at least, to be clean (bed, sink, toilet) and for it to live up to its advertising. Well, the bed was a little hard but fine for me but it was not clean and neither was the bathroom. The room was dingy and not a place where you would want to spend any more time than absolutely necessary. The 'satellite' TV seemed only to work on one channel, the wifi was sporadic and unreliable. Sunny, the host, is an entrepreneurial young man running a business and will do well for himself no doubt, but he purely does what he needs to do for you - no more. That's not a bad thing. He does his job politely and effectively enough. But I feel previous reviewers were rather over-enthusiastic in their praise of his hosting qualities. This may all seem a little harsh in the light of the price and location but I am basing my comments on experiences at numerous other budget establishments at which I have stayed in India (some even cheaper than Vintage Inn), virtually all of which have been far superior in terms of cleanliness, facilities, ambiance and the level of customer care, so I feel fully justified in making an unfavourable comparison. Having said all of this, it seems to me that the actions Sunny would need to take in order to add a star or two to my review would be quickly and easily achieved.

We stayed for 5 nights but had booked for 6 and they let us cancel the last night without paying for it which was nice, but they don't take card only cash. Hotel room was ok, but sheets didn't feel clean an bed wasn't very comfy, aircon was so noisy you couldn't have it on, bathroom was good but every time you wanted a shower you had to ring reception and ask them to turn on the hot water. Hotel staff where very nice and the hotel is right in the main markets so pretty good spot!

I stayed there three days without any problem at all. Great location, the owner was very friendly and helped me a lot to plan my journey around the city. He even offered me a beer and a breakfast. The room was clean and tidy and internet speed pretty good. I'll definitely recommend it!

This place is very basic with clean and tidy rooms. It is less than a minutes from the main bazaar with food, shopping and organised chaos. Pick up at airport was easy and no stress. The owner, Sunny was a huge help with the start of our trip around Rajasthan. Recommend to any traveller.
