The hotel is very well located near the station, in a quite lane of Paharganj. The bed was very big, comfortable the room was clean and the people working there very helpful, specially Bimal and Rahul. We'll definitely come back here next time!

Yes, this Hotel might be classic in style, wonder to marvel and to look at, the ancient architecture is an eye feast. HOWEVER, Staying in this Hotel is simply HORRIBLE. I reserved thru Make My Trip.com, interested in he beautiful pictures. what I found: 1. Air cons simply do not work, I moved and changed rooms 3 times because of this problem, in the hot and humid and Dusty Delhi, this is unacceptable. 2. Dusty floors everywhere, all over, including the room, it was not mopped properly. 3, Ancient upholstery might be of interest to you, but if it is dusty and dirty and broken beyond repair, do you still want to sit on it? 4 The most SHOCKING experience was the breakfast, it is served on the roof top, sounds very interesting indeed, climbing four flights of stairs ( there is no lift here), I found that all the utensils are dusty and dirty, far from hygienic, it is situated next to a pile of broken furniture, with some cats eating their fare. I opt to take some bananas (the only clean food) and left. This is again, is a beautiful Hotel, however, it is only fit as a museum, unless a serious and gigantic renovation and reservation is done, this historic place would become another decaying monument of Old Delhi, too bad a fate for those beautiful artefacts.

Steeped in the heart of Pahar Ganj a once little gem needing much renovation. Such a shame as there are so many traditional artefacts around the building. Having visited this hotel on many occasions I feel the standards have slipped somewhat. No hot water in room and now only serve a simple breakfast as roof top cooking has been banned due to a fire elsewhere in Pahar Ganj. Warning as an experienced traveller to India, Pahar Ganj can be very assaulting on your senses in many ways, noise, smells, colours but this is India. Also beware of tuk tuk scams from the Metro, they may take you to tourist office and ask for more rupees so agree your price before travelling with them. Pictures are of Paharganj market area
