What's Good: TOO MUCH BOARING ROOM. U FEEL LIKE HERE A JAIL. ROOM NOT CLEAN IN MY WHOLE 3 DAYS STAY. NO ROOM SERVICE AT ROOM. IF U WANT ANY THING U NEED TO GO TO RECEPTION FOR ORDER. VERY TIDY ROOMS & ALSO VERY SMALL TOILET-BATHROOM. FOR REACH HERE U NEED A LOCAL GUIDE OTHERWISE YOU NEVER REACH HERE.

Toilets are dirty, bathroom floors always wet (generally in India there's no tub, but not an excuse for not drying up) , even I saw the housekeeping boy preparing a bed for check in and he just fold back the sheets, put toilet paper on it, went to the toilet and with something like a brush pushed back the water on the floor to the sink. They offer a taxi from the airport to there, 600 rupees paid at check out and of course the driver will ask you for a tip. The wifi works well and you have a locker. PLEASE BE AWARE: At the moment you get there and if they see you are an inexperienced traveller, with tourist look, still shocked for the reality in India and overall the caos and hardness of the main street of the market Bazar, you will be fooled to buy a much more expensive tour around India than any you could easily plan yourself a few weeks before your flight. They would tell you North of India is so difficult to travel, no tickets for train (if you book in advance before arriving using cleartrip no worries ), is safer for you if you book with us, out there is full of Scams to take you to another agency (something funny because they are the same and who knows how much commission they get), bla, bla, bla. They are good at convincing, reading body language, and they make you think you need this. For what its worth the agency the contacted takes you to all the citys in your itinerary with a private driver who is a guide as well and you sleep in hotels with breakfast included. So if you like tours like this make sure you book straight with the legit agency and not through third parts because the may take half the price for them in commission or more. I hope my experience and mistake help others. They should know what karma is, shouldn't they?

I stayed here with my partner for three nights and it was the perfect place for our first few nights in India. The hostel feels very safe, the WiFi is excellent and there are the most adorable pugs!! The rooms are away from the streets so all of the noise from the Main Street is blocked out but you still have access to all the restaurants/ shops etc. Definitely get the airport transfer!!! We declined and ended up trapped in a travel agents for two hours while people tried to sell us tours. The taxi driver was all part of the scam and tried to scare us into leaving Delhi saying it was polluted and dangerous. He also told us he couldnt drive in Paharganj due to Diwali traffic and someone from the hotel was coming to meet us. He even fake called someone from the hotel, so we trusted him. Obviously no one came to get us. We were taken to a place called the Tourist I centre near Connaught place- it had a blue front. Do not trust this place. A rep told us he was going to Kashmir the next day and that we should go with him. However, we saw the same man outside the next day trying to scam someone else. When we realised there was no one coming to collect us we got in another taxi. On arrival at the hostel we saw the messages from the hostel manager who expressed lots of concern for our whereabouts and safety, which we really appreciated. This hotel is great as it helps people to report these scams! In a nutshell Kuldeeps is amazing and definitely get the transfer.

Perfect location hostel right in the centre of New Delhi. Beds are very comfortable and the value is excellent. The staff were extremely welcoming and helped me a massive amount with my trip! Extremely happy with my stay here. Highly recommend.

Very helpful staff: they will provide you anything you need for your trip (sim card, airport pick-up, train tickets booking...) Its location is close to the train station, so a very good option if you take a train to go to Agra, Amristar,... Nevertheless the streets around are narrow and very dirty... so be prepared for the caos and smell...

Hi everyone Im Irene, I arrived to New Delhi yesterday 31-7 with my sister. We booked from Italy the Backpackers Heaven Hostel and they told us they wouldve picked us up at the airport. Unfortunately at the airport we got scamed, which is very easy in india. A fake taxi driver came and he brought us to a fake hostel , a very terrible one like a slam, and he offered us to go to an agency to book a better one . So we agreed and this agency , which was a FAKE one told us all fake informations like all hotels are full and close now in Delhi, I suggest you a tour now (very expensive) . We agreed cause we were tired and they were able to scare us(it is their job) . We arrived at the fake hotel and after a long time like 9 hours with a WiFi we reveive a big help from our hostel Backlakers Heaven, they came to pick us up, we arrived at te hired any they got the money we gave to the fake agency back . This is to tell you to make sure not to trust anyone here, even if they look nice and professional . Now we are happy and safe, Writing from the hostel:)
