Arrived at hotel to find staff sleeping on reception floor in underwear and refusing to wake a up to deal with our booking. When he eventually got up he was rude, bad tempered and aggressive. He eventually acknowledged our booking but then told us he had sold our room earlier and had no rooms left. He then told us to leave or he would call the police! We arrived at 23.45 and had to walk around trying to find a room. Booking.com were very little help. Disgraceful!!

Staffs: Rude, Place is dirty Very hot No Wi-Fi Cheating rate No support from manager Mr. Guddu is rude and harsh manager. He loves to cheat the guest all the time. He has no time but busy for nothing. He takes the advantage of guest's weaknesses.

Horrible, I always went to very cheap guesthouse, but this is the worst. Cockroaches everywhere, the staff is rude, in the same area you can find better rooms, more clean with same price or cheaper. Dirty without limit. I will not return.

I was happy with my stay here. The staff were lovely and helpful, they kindly let me have the room on the bottom floor instead so that i could get a better wifi signal. The manager also taught me some hindi. The room was fine, you get what you pay for. Delhi is generally not the cleanest place in the world so dont expect it to be perfect. Tbh it was actually better than some of the more expensive accommodation ive paid for around here!

Paharganj, or, to be more precise, Main Bazaar road already turned into a symbol of Delhi. It looks a bit like Kaosan-road in Bangkok with its great number and variety of guest houses, restaurants, cafes and shops. But Delhi offers a completely different level. You can find various amenities among almost five hundred accomodation units in this location. Unfortunately, our "Mahesh" proved to be among the worst. It is located in one of the many dark alleys side branches off the main "passageway", the acces from which to "Mahesh" is hung with goods of different traders, huddling in such a darkness, and the bottom is littered with debris, and drenched in smelly puddles. And this place is quite suitable for the habitat of rats, and they dont stay out of your eyes! Rooms in the "Mahesh" are not better. According to local fashion there are no rooms on the ground floor, only higher. But in addition to this here you find too steep stairs. The room itself is tiny, dirty, the decor and the furniture has seen the types and into the bathroom also not a model of sanitary perfection you have to squeeze through sideways. Its very strange that "Mahesh" found its place in the hotels list of Booking.com where we "sketched". Much more surprising is that among the two dozen reviews there are quite restrained.
