Although I had booked at Evergreen, wild horses would not drag me to stay there. The scuffed entrance and strong smell of urine hit my nostrils on entering the property. The room I was showed was like a dark dingy smelly cupboard. I am not sure who gave the ratings it has, but I did not even check in to the property and I was charged for the stay!!!! Trying to get a refund is not easy. The area is good so extremely disappointed by this property, just glad I was not with a group on this occasion.

Well located in Defence Colony, the place is clean and well maintained, the staff is helpful and the rooms are just right sized. The place has a homely feel to it, I liked the ambience and will definitely come back.

I had stayed in this hotel on the last week of feb 2018 just for a single night. They are located in one of the upmarket defense colony A block of new delhi and it way inside a residential area . due to this reason they don't even have their hotel name anywhere on the property , will be very hard to find out unless you are using google for navigation. They charged me around 3.8K for a night which i found to be high compared to the facilities which they provide. Room was very small , in which more than 80% was occupied by a double bed , they didn't had place to put a small dressing mirror also as there were no place left. Rooms were not very clean. Since i went to delhi for participating in a run which was to take place very early in the morning @ JLN stadium i had choosen this hotel , as it was hardly 1.2 km from the start point , apart from that there is no other compelling reason to book this hotel.

This is a very nice boutique hotel, comfortable and cozy. It located in safety area and nearby Defence Colony Market. It takes only 5 mins by walk. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very good service.

I had booked overnight stay at Evergreen Suites A-153 Defence colony New Delhi. I checked in yesterday. Plus points:The room is comfortable The security staff were friendly and helpful, directing me to the nearest market - five minutes walk. (Had momos and juice for dinner, 90 bucks total) Minus points: 1. I am new to Delhi and my cab driver did not know this small B&B. On calling from South extension we found the phone constantly engaged, both numbers. After ten tries we got someone who also didn't know the way from that point. Finally we got someone to direct us to their given landmark - JCO club. But navigation to the exact road took ten minutes of backing, asking, retracing steps. It doesn't show up on Google either! A map would be helpful! 2. I was the only one at reception, yet it took me 30 minutes to get a bellboy to take me to my room. Check in is 1100 and I reached at 1515 or so! 3. The water for my bath was less than even lukewarm at full turn to hot even after 5 minutes of flow. I shivered at 0730! If there's a timing for hot water, say so, I'd have used the kettle and had a bucket bath! 4.The last is the worst! I inquired about their breakfast timings - 8-10 am was the answer. I took my diabetic medication at 0730 and was down by 0755. I paid my bill and waited. And waited and waited and waited! Finally feeling a low sugar coming on, I asked to be served. The answer (from service person Sunil Paswan) was that the breakfast was decided to be served at 0900 that day! After a lot of complaining I was grudgingly given parathas at 0845! I tried to have the banana on the table to ward off the low but the two I peeled (or tried) were raw! I had to ask for coffee with lots of sugar to prevent problems! No one offered it out of concern. Incidentally their certificate is for 6 rooms on ground and first floor. I was put up on the second floor - room 34! The receptionist, Simranpal Singh, only wanted to make excuses of how they, in past, made sandwiches ... make jalebi or curds rice - the point is, have it on the table when you say you will! I even called the manager to complain, one Aashish, but got no apology or explanation from him either! Avoid this place unless you are desperate!
