My wife and I were unfortunate enough to prepay for a three-night stay at this so-called "hotel" from February 26 through March 1. When we arrived, the room we were assigned had a dog (owner's dog) in it, the air conditioning didn't work, and it was filthy. The staff on site simply said that they "just work there"and couldn't help us. I had the mobile number for the manager, Mr. Sufhir Srivastav, and called him. He was unwilling to come out as it was late in the evening. Instead, he had us re-assigned to another room. What a terrible mistake. This room was at the top level and had a wooden ceiling. Almost straight after going to bed, we were were wakened by the sound of pigeons walking along the wood ceiling. We barely got a half hour of sleep all night. We called Mr. Srivastav in the morning but he was still unwilling to come out and rectify the situation. Instead, he offered to move us to a third room. This room turned out to be OK and Srivastav finally turned up on the third morning looking very sheepish and mumbling some nonsense. I went through the deficiencies of the establishment, including the filthy conditions in the kitchen and he assured me that all was under control. We asked him for a refund of one night's payment and he point blank declined. I plan to lodge a formal complaint with the Delhi Municipal Corporation and Mrs. Dixshit's administration. This establishment has no sign outside and is obviously unlicensed and masquerading as a hotel. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF PAYING TO STAY IN THIS HOVEL. IT IS FILTHY, UNSANITARY, NOISY, AND UNHEALTHY.
