Very good place to have double hump camel ride. Very scenic. Rides available for 15 as well as 30 minutes. Must have experiences. Reasonable prices. However they become very crowded and one has to stand in a queue before getting to ride. However post ride one see only the happy faces.

Visited sand dunes of Nubra valley in Hunder where about 70 double humped camels are available for tourists to experience a ride on charge basis. Bought a ticket costing Rs200/- for 15 minutes ride and stood on the waiting for my turn. It took about half an hour for my turn to avail and sat on a camel for the first time in my life. About 10 camels are stringed together and a trainer walks them along sand dunes. I enjoyed my camel ride and took lot of pictures. Particularly when camel walks down the sand dunes one has to lean back a bit which is promptly guided by the trainer. It was a great experience and every tourist visiting Nubra valley must try the camel ride.

Good location. Staff gives their 100%. Neat and clean tents. No WiFi. Overall we enjoyed and my son enjoyed more. Electric supply is there (time bound). Hot water available. Bathrooms are clean and tidy.

We did not book this earlier and finalised a good deal on the spot. The owner Mr. Namgyal is very soft spoken person. The camps and bathroom are very clean. There is a small stream flowing through the camps which adds to the beauty. The food is average.

I am a solo traveller and booked this property for one night. When I checked in yesterday, there were no guests at the property. There is no restaurant functional in lean period and one is required to use outside restaurant which is 10 mins walking distance. I waited from 4 to 7 pm But there was no sign of electricity. Being a single traveller I found it intimidating and unsafe. The hotel manager was helpful. But the hotel facilities are pathetic. Clear trip should not accept booking for such lean seasons. I had no choice but to shift my luggage to another nearby camp. I found a much cheaper, safe place nearby.
