The location is the best part of this hotel. It is in steps of a tea estate. But it is 25km or 1hour travel from Ooty town. Food below expectations, be it local south Indian dishes or any north indian item. As this is in a remote location so no other dine out options available in nearby.

This place is located approximately 1hour before Ooty city. Location is good, you can see the clouds pass through you. Greenery and mountains all around. All rooms have a view. First day we were the only occupants. Food was limited electricity was not there for 4-5hrs. Staff was avoiding generated since we were the only one's there. Glasses and towels were not available in the room. We were asked to change room for electricity. Day 2 more than 7rooms oocupied all services were available. Staff is limited. Food options as per availability. Overall average experience. Service needs lot of improvement.

I had been to United 21 Paradise on a weekend. First, the staff goofed up by giving us a classic room instead of cottage. As i had visited for the first time and had only seen a few photographs, couldn't find out. It was only during the checkout we realised the issue. The hotel did compensate our loss in form of free lunch at their restaurant, but the overall experience that we were expecting was lost, as we got a room of a lower category than what we had asked for... The location though was good as it was on hill with tea estate surrounding the hotel.. For those who want to stay here for a lazy weekend, its a good place. For those looking to visit Ooty, this place is a bit far. The restaurant does have a elaborate fare on the menu, but quite a few things were not available. The food was good to taste, but not upto the mark. The staff was acceptably prompt... The only real positive aspect was environment surrounding the hotel. Well... worth for a one time stay...

They are understaffed. There in no room service, no amenities, The room service never answers, staff is rude and unprofessional. The kitchen has a 15 page menu but they dont even have basic stuff to cook in kitchen, Breakfast was pathetic and found a fly in curry when reported to staff they started fighting. The rooms are not clean and all of the property is shabby and very ill managed If you want to spoil your vacation this is the place to stay.

This stay is close to Pykara lake, so no where you should consider it as close to ooty - it takes an hour or more to reach ooty from here. keeping the location aside, Staff behaviors was very bad, they were poorly trained, no idea of what they doing, no one picks the call and in overall worst staff. Food was far behind calling it worst, flys & mosquitoes are served with food and restuarnet staff behaves like running a free meal camp in remote areas !!! Rooms are good and beds are nice, but mainaince of rooms are worst than any. So, in short, just avoid irrespctive of discount they offer !!
