Went as a group of 7 school/college friends and it was quite the property, located in the middle of nowhere. It was a pleasant 15 min walk to the property from the last point where cars could reach. Beautiful weather, lovely local people to welcome and point you to interesting things. The property was extremely spacious and had the required amenities for a pleasant stay. Did two hikes and both took us to spectacular view points on the edge of the mountains. Food was great, courtesy the local caretaker. Only thing to be prepared for is the lack of electricity as the house is solar powered and there is not enough power to last the night. Overall, highly highly recommended if anyone wants some peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle.

We went with a group for an organised weekend trek that included accommodation and food. The location is stunning. The views are to die for. For the first time in my life, I saw a moonrise that was just spectacular. We also spotted gaurs, spotted deer, monkeys and various species of birds. The trek was tough but satisfying. The food was good. The rooms were dusty and the sheets were not the cleanest. There is scope for improvement in this area. Overall, it was a good stay

awesome location in the forest away from hussle bussle of the city life. if you are lucky you could spot wildlife near to the stay. in order to reach the place you have to walk 10minutes in the forest after parking your car safely in a resort nearby. there is no proper power supply and phone range in the place. you have to walk out from the stay a little to get the network. home made yummy vegetarian food is served 3 times as per the plan. the place is taken care by a local guy who is also the cook, he stays at the place 24x7. they have also great views from the room. take emergency lights and your leisure equipment/time pass things with you as this might come handy any time. power was not available at night for us 2 days we stayed as the solar facility ran out of charge. In short , an amazing stay with out of life experiences close to nature, if they had little more facilities like power and one more staff to handle the place I would have votted 5/5.

I stumbled across this property 2 days before my travel there. Unfortunately/fortunately all the hotels in Ooty were full. This was the only available place around to stay with my family. Never expected it to be this good! It's a gorgeous property in the middle of nowhere! To reach there is a task in itself. It's a detour on the way to Ooty. You have to drive a few kilometers till you feel lost. Then you have to walk around a kilometer till you feel lost again to reach this amazing place. On the way you will also see a property which will amaze you. The walk is through a bunch of tea plantations. The good: 1. Crazy awesome views! It's literally on the edge of the mountain. 2. The place is filled with antiques, old books and a lot of other stuff that can scare you at night 3. Service is awesome 4. Food is great The bad: 1. Only problem was the Jeep that they use to get people to this secluded place was not available when I went there. My parents had to walk all the way. Not a major turn off though Highly recommended for a group outing or a family stay!

Wild Walker's camp is a nature and wild life enthusiasts dream come true. It's serene atmosphere and spectacular surroundings ,the fresh air, the courteous and obliging staff and the wild animals around add to its beauty. The tulsi tea, the simple yet delicious home food , the spacious and tastefully done rooms and the walking / trekking paths all together make this place a must visit. Loved the experience thoroughly and looking forward to my next trip.
