  • Good Hotel

    by jayant i on

Rooms were neat and clean, bed covers, bed sheets, pillow covers were new and clean.Toilet was clean , hand and bath towels were clean.Ample parking in the hotel, you get a complimentary car wash . All the staff was very good and cooperative. Stayed in room 313 and 314. A/C in 313 was noisy, needs to be taken care of urgently as summer is approaching fast. I didn't require the A/C though.Restaurant was good and buffet breakfast variety was great .Good value for the money.

  • . Best Hotel for a family stay in Solapur

    by vijayananair on

The best hotel in Solapur..Very clean, hygiene standards and facilities are world class. Location is close to railway station. The food is also excellent especially the Tea. The people are very decent and service is prompt. For outdoor visits, please use the hotel car since it is economical and safe. My kid enjoyed a lot. I seriously recommend the hotel for family stay. .

  • Unacceptable sexism at this hotel from the staff

    by abrookeh14 on

I'm a photographer and was staying here while traveling for work. The stay was ok overall, the food was decent and the men who served us at the restaurant were very nice. But the main reason I'm writing this review is to discuss the sexism I experienced here. After a long day of shooting, we went to have a drink at the ADVERTISED bar and lounge. As we walked in, about 4 men approached my partner and I and told us "this is not a family place," meaning "women are not allowed at this bar." We told them, we aren't a family, we don't have kids, we're just a couple wanting to have a drink at the bar. Again we were escorted away from the door and told to go eat at the restaurant, where "families" were welcome. I'm from the U.S. and have lived in India for several years and I've never stayed at a hotel where I was told women are not allowed to come into the bar. This is completely unacceptable. If you want to be a hotel that advertises that you have a bar, you have to welcome anyone into that advertised bar, not men only. Reconsider carefully how you treat women. It's 2019.

  • Very expensive - not worth the amount

    by vkrayala on

It is a reasonably decent hotel. Even though it is supposed to be 3 star hotel, the quality of the facilities do not qualify for such rating. Rooms are very small - very little moving space. Rates at the restaurants are very high for a city like Solapur. Even though there is coffee/tea maker in the room, the ingredients like sugar, coffee powder, tea bags are bare minimum. Even for a double occupancy they place the items for one person only. The staff are also are not well trained for hospitality or cordial behaviour - got 3 reminders every 5 minutes for checkout - even before the scheduled time of checkout. Even the approach road is not nice. I prefer not to visit again.

  • Nice hotel, good food

    by mckenzim1322 on

Stayed at this hotel to attend an engagement ceremony in Solapur. The staff was friendly, the room was very clean. Disappointed to see there was no toilet paper though. Also the bathroom fan pulled cigarette smoke into the room from somewhere. The restaurant was very good. Lots of choices for breakfast and the restaurant staff went above and beyond to make sure we had whatever we wanted.
