From July 27th to 29th July 2018 we three families of 8 members visited the place and we were so happy and satisfied. The estate is excellent wide spread, green, tranquil and at the same time all modern facilities are available.Rooms are clean , food is excellent and all the staffs are simply best. we got everything we wanted at such a remote place. The estate manager Mr. Ranjan is very helpful and ready to go beyond the agreed terms and conditions. He himself took us for a nice trekking and local site seeing. The estate is surrounded by lakes, water falls, tea gardens. coffee gardens. Lots of birds, wild animals. the best thing is that there is no internet, almost no mobile connectivity. I suggest to visit the place during monsoon or just after monsoon to get the best. We tanks to the management of the estate particularly Mr Ranjan and his team members.

The surroundings are perfect. Lots of birds, peaceful and explorable place. You can walk around the estate even if you don't want to trek up all the way for a sunrise view. Staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms which we stayed were not best - just that it didn't have good enough ventilation in the main bedroom. Quite spacious and clean otherwise. Remember that last few hundred meters of the road to the place is in bad shape - I wont recommend fixing it though because that's a great feeling riding on those patches. Overall a good experience and would recommend it anyday.

I was just like back to my 2nd Home, again for the 3rd time....to Kailas Plantations, Nelliampathy,Palakkad.... now it's seemed to be more elegant, classic & modern in all sense.... Forests surrounded by this Coffee Plantation has become more wild, cook, lushly and green with wild-buffalo, elephants, deer etc... One video of Elephant in resort is posted in my Facebook (ID:Shoby Kuttan)..... it was our first-time experience in life.... Morning around 6 am, 2 buffallows also given appearance close to our rooms.... And regarding, Food - marvelous, rich-in-tasty with no added-colours & preservatives.... So friendly staff..... it's really beyond words..... Go and visit the plantation resort... experience it.... also try the new All-Terrain-Bike.....

We had stayed in Kailas plantation for 3 days.. It was an amazing homestay amidst plantations and forests..Rooms were neat and tidy, spacious...I would recommend balcony rooms for a good view of the forest in the night.. Before going there, we were not sure about the options of vegetarian food but to our surprise Mr. Cleetus and Vipin served us with the best Kerala veg food.. His passion towards cooking was commendable..Special thanks to Mr. Renjan who took us for a real forest trek and night safari... He is very social and friendly.. I thank all the staff members for making our stay a safe and memorable.. Get the map form them/carry a torch for walk safari and unwind yourself... We would love to come back again!!!

This is the best place one would have stayed so far.Just follow the instruction in the mail/message to reach this location as there are no sign boards. We stayed at the premium balcony room. The balcony is the best part, were we spend the early morning and evening enjoying the cool breeze. The first credit goes to the beautiful location, the place is set up.The coffee plantation is surrounded by forest. The chill winds of winter was too cool.one can wander across the entire plantation. The second Credit goes to Mr.Cleetus, who prepared the 5 star dishes for us.The breakfast, lunch , Dinner, tea and snacks were too good. The best veg and non veg food we had for 2 days Full credit goes to Mr.Renjan, who is such an energetic person, who took us for fishing and to trekking. We trekked all the the way till the plantation top point. The experience has to be really felt and not written. He has got full knowledge of the geography. He boosted our energy level high with his detailed explanation of flora and fauna. He accompanied us to the local sight seeing places and gave a detailed explanation of each place. He is the manager in the plantation for around 30 years. The stay would have failed without his presence. Suggested period of stay : 2 days;take walking shoes;Own transport.
