What's Good: Close to temple. Sufficient parking space which is a necessity in Palani. Food is good, but choice and speed of service can be better. Nevertheless, there are a couple of joints very closeby.
What needs to improve : Nothing in particular.

What's Good: The hotel has a restaurant attached to it and a decent one at that. It does not offer variety, but rather a limited menu. The complimentary breakfast is not spread on the table to be chosen. You are offered a couple of south indian tiffin items to choose from. It has limited, laid back staff. The breakfast is to start at 7 am, but you have to wake them up to serve your breakfast. Otherwise, this hotel is probably one of a very few decent places to stay in this Temple town, which is the main and only attraction in this place. It is located at a walking distance from the Temple. It has ample car parking space.

The hotel needs serious attention to the rooms and amenities. The AC doesn't work here despite calling to the reception. Jennifer called them twice but still there was no cooling. The rooms too need renovation.

This Hotel is neither located on the peripheral Ring road, which is surrounding the Temple Hill nor on any other the main roads, but it is located on a bye lane near the foothills. As far as the Hotel is concerned, the property, even though seems to be bit old, has been maintained very neatly and the house keeping seems to be at its best, as everything looked very neat & clean. From the balcony of our Room, we could able see the Temple complex. And the manager of the Hotel was very courteous, as even though we chalked in at around 8-00 in the morning, he allowed us to stay in the room up to 9-00 AM. But the few cons, what I have noticed were, the morning complimentary breakfast, even though was only limited to 4 varieties but in the process, one need to place the order for each item every time, as they have not kept it open, for easy access, in the dining Hall, unlike in other buffet Hotels. And the second aspect is that, as early as 8-00 in the morning, we didnt got hot water & instead of hot water it was just warm. And another interesting issue is, one can do lot of local shopping, one the way either towards the Temple main entrance or towards the winch entrance. But the major drawback (or the big nuisance) about this Hotel, is the approach road, which is not only very congested (due to road side vendors), but also lot of garbage has been dumped (thrown) in front of the Hotel itself. Further, as the immediate opposite small lane is being used as open public urinals, one has to compulsorily close nose to avoid this un tolerable smell nuisance, while entering this Hotel & I dont know why the local public administration is not taking appropriate action or taking serious action against theses unhygienic issues, in this Temple town. But if anyone coming to this Hotel by an AC car, I hope they maynt experience this problem. Barring the above I feel this Hotel is one of the decent Hotels, located close to the Winch.

this was my favourite hotel. i visted this hotel after along gap. yet it is very neat and clean. though the complimentary breakfast offered is very limited, the taste is good. dinner is also good. suitable for family. friendly staff. again i give it a 5 star rating. the front side rooms in the first floor offer beautiful view of the Palani temple and the winch track.

Had stayed in this hotel 8 years ago and came back this year. Thought it would be the same condition but its a little old. Nearby to Palani temple and above average condition. Rooms a bit dusty and average looking toilet

We have been visiting Palani at least once a year, we have stayed in the same hotel 2 years back and multiple times earlier, last night we booked 2 rooms one the executive suite for a family of four with 2 kids and another standard room for my parents the quality was better earlier, the night lamp got fused last night at 11:30 PM and they were made to sleep in powerful dressing table light, asked for change of room, the management refused, no proper reason given, the next worst experience last night, no wifi at all, I had to rely on that because of poor mobile data, Literally struggled to amend my flight ticket, The place is totally unhygienic, the only in room entertainment TV sets shows nothing but blurry pictures, the biggest nightmare is our complimentary breakfast they gave plain oothappam as complimentary but they charged for onion ootthappam over Rs100, we had too choose oothapam because they dint have idly. The manager din't like to hear these suggestions, he suggested to post reviews on the web so the management will know the issues. Except for the closeness to the temple there is no single good thing about this hotel. Please dont rely on Goibibo reviews, they are hopeless, The cost of standard room is RS3000 and Family Room is RS5100.My first reviews with so much of negative aspects.
