Decent tents with cleanliness. Helpful staff. Good food (Never expected Rajma Rice in dinner and Chole Puri in breakfast at Pangong). Electricity for only 4 hours (as expected). No wifi (also expected). Amazing night view (Lake and Sky) sitting in front of your tent with your better half. Worth Visiting.

Pangong itself is so beautiful that all other things doesn't really matter in front of it. I reached Pangong at around 4 in evening and has Ladakh summer camp booked for a night. As soon as Pangong area starts one can see a lot of tented accommodations, Ladakh summer camp is actually around 10 kms from the point of 1st view of Pangong, so one need to drive further to Spangmik to reach Ladakh summer camp, Spangmik looks like a tented colony with hundreds of tented accommodation. (if anyone has visited Kutch just remember Dhordo the tent village, same is for Spangmik) The road till Spangmik is good with Pangong on one side & Himalayas on the other. Reaching Spangmik is easy but finding the tented accommodation is a bit time consuming as there are not much directions, we need to stop & keep on asking the locals for the directions to camp. There are no roads till camps as they are off the road. No issues of parking. Coming to tents, this camp has around 15 tents, tents are good, clean (might be the case as I have reached at the starting of season), quilts, sheets, bed linen was all clean and recently drycleaned, good for me. There are attach bathrooms with all tents, hot water is provided in the morning only. Tents were cosy and despite being bitter cold outside, we were feeling comfortable inside. Some tents have charging points but power is there through gensets only from 7pm-11pm. Rest can charge their phones/cameras in the common area during 7-11 pm only. Food was OK but not great, they serve only veg cuisine. Bonfire can be arranged in front of tent on request. Pangong is hardly 5 mins walking from the camp, all camps have a small sit out area in front & one can sit & enjoy the view from there. Price wise it was a bit overpriced for me for the quality provided. Once we try to book the accomodation online for Spangmik there were not much options, but once we reach there, a lot of options are available, however it is advisable to book before reaching there either online or through the travel operators in Leh. Overall a decent place overlooking the pangong, clean tents, food can be improved. All tents looked almost similar to me so cant say from outside which one is better which not.
