Hotel location is best and superb view of Kanchenjunga. Hotel is @ top of hills. I stay for 2N and was pleased to have excellent facilities. Food is good. With limited options in food but tasty. One should book with breakfast and dinner. Don't think for any other option.

i went with my family in oct2017. the propery is great with breattaking view of the mountains and if clear sky then u can see mt kanchanjunga. spacious rooms, large bathroom, new fittings but no wadrobe. have a nice lawn but beware of leaches if u wana walk on the grass. buffet breakfastr is ok. food taste is ok. now one of the most imp orttant thing, the service, its pathetic; never expected from such classy resort. after 10 no generetor backup, u have to be ready with candle hence dont forget to pack candles for the trip. beware of the local travel agents, the cheat a lotif got chance and its better u prebook ur taxi to airport if u hav a early flight coz they will promise and charge for inova/xylo and in the mornig u will find a sumo in a pathetic condition. overall it started well for us but ended badly.

The resort is aptly named as a retreat. If you want to take a retreat from your daily battles in the lap of bountiful Mother Nature, then this is the place to visit. When you wake up in the morning and behold the awe inspiring Kanchenjunga in front of you then only the following verses of great poet Amir Khusrau will come to your mind: Agar firdaus bar roo-e zameen ast, Hameen ast-o hameen ast-o hameen ast (If there is a paradise on earth, It is this, it is this, it is this ) Please note that I visited this place at the beginning of February, so your mileage may vary depending on the season. I have to make a special mention for the staffs of the resort. I have never come across better behaved persons in my life. From the person who came to receive us at the parking at 10 oclock at night to the manager who extended our checkout time by a couple of hours just because we checked in so late , everyone was so polite and courteous that it leaves a lasting impression. The rooms are spacious and squeaky clean. The only downside I can think about is the food. Dont get me wrong the food is good but not out of this world like the rest of the things. If you can endure the extremely dilapidated road that connects Pelling to Jorethang, then this is the place to visit. You can also take the alternate route from Singtam via Ravangla which I came to know from the manger.

Perfect View from the Huts, Kangchenjunga in front of you when you awake in the morning, Mountain view full greenery, recreational activities for children in resort, well decorated spacious rooms. Must have a attached car/taxi to visit locally.
