Pros: Hotel rooms(including bathrooms) are very big. There is plenty of space to move around inside room. Restaurant serves only Veg but very tasty food. I have given one extra star for food quality & presentation. Hotel staff is well behaved & prompt. Cons: Hotel location could have been better. Areas surrounding hotel gives you a feeling that you are in midst of a rural landscape. Power backup is an issue. I was surprised to know that even after so much power cut, they didn't have power generator. Battery backup provides only lighting. Hot water is an issue if there is no power in the morning.
Great room, great staff, but pure veg food

The hotel has spacious rooms. Our room had a bathtub. The interior has been done with wooden panels. The promoters have spent on the physical infrastructure in terms of well-lit rooms with mountain views and bath fittings. Clean room, pleasant staff. Pooja, a young girl as the in-charge in a difficult terrain does a sterling job. Power was erratic. Inverter provides for two lights but no hot water. The hotel serves 'Pure Veg', which was a huge disappointment. Agoda should have made it more explicit. More than half the items in the veg menu were also not available, as we were the only guest in the hotel at that time. One of the items was bland and tasteless, while others were better. You can watch the famous Buddha statue from the hotel, only about 1.5kms from the hotel. You wake up to the view of snow-capped mountains - all a sublime bliss! For a hotel which charges so much, I believe heater should be provided at no extra cost, especially when power is unreliable.

We had booked two rooms in this hotel in mid june. The rooms were comfortable. The staff is extremely cordial and cooperative. Breakfast and dinner was delicious and had a home made flavour to it. The chef took some personal request on food options which is highly appreciated. The view from the rooms is serene. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for two days.
This review is only for the food!

We stayed in a Homestay near Pelling Resort and visited this place for a couple of meals. The resort is a new property. The restaurant serves good food and the staff is very nice. You can definitely step in for a meal.
Enjoyed stay at the Pelling resort

It's very closely located to Helipad (just 3 mins walk) from which you can have the best view of the Kanchenjunga. Even from the resort corridor, we can view the kanchenjunga. Its located in a very quiet location, little away from upper Pelling. Rooms in the resort are quite big and the staff is very cordial and prompt in service. It has only a veg restaurant but the food is delicious. We had a pleasant stay here.
The top floor has good view of the mountains from the balcony. You can even see the Buddha statue from the top room

Its a basic facility hotel so don't expect much, but staff and food will make it up
