  • favorite glam-ping experience in Tiger Country India

    by Sherry G on

I had the most extraordinary experience at Jamtara in March of this year, we were the last group for this season as the world was coming apart. The staff were amazing during these extraordinary times. The food was superior and uncomplicated, the amenities were well appointed. I have to say the staff and location is what makes this place so special. They really have a love and it shows. The guides were able to show us tigers, leopards and all sorts of birds and wildlife in the Pench National Park. Each piece of the experience builds on the last. Another happy customer who will bring her whole family next time. There will be a next time. I am dreaming already.

  • Fabulous Stay with Great Hospitality

    by ACPSAS on

We visited Penchants National Park and stayed at Jamtara for 2 nights in mid Jan 2020. We live in SA and very often visit the & Beyond Lodges in Africa and our expectations are therefore very high. Our experience at Jamtara was just brilliant and in fact in line with those At & Beyond The hospitality and quality of food was or should I say way above Our game drives were highly informative but unfortunately no Tigers and therefore will be back Thanks you all at Jamtara for brilliant stay Highly recommended

  • Very well run lodge resort

Staff and guest services are welcoming, willing and can do orientated. All were well led by Neil and Ravindran. The naturalist guide, Warren, was knowledgeable with an easy conversational style. Highly recommended

  • Best family holiday!

    by Cruiser227176 on

We celebrated our first anniversary at Jamtara with our family and it was amazing. The property is beautiful and the hospitality is spectacular. Everyone is so warm and welcoming, we were so tempted to extend our holiday by a few days. Special mention to the chef - the food is just delicious. Think we will be back again super soon!

  • Neat accomodations and wonderful personnel

    by K B on

We stayed here in order to access Pench National Park. The accomodations were really nifty huge tent structures: there are only 10 making this place somewhat exclusive as can accomodate only around 20 guests at a time. The tents are large and comfortably furnished; each is isolated for privacy from the others. The bath area is almost as large as the main room. Dining is in a central area. Nice decor of paintings and sculpture. The staff is excellent. First rate naturalists accompany the safari vehicles; food is excellent. Overall, highly recommended. One thing to be aware of: at least the weather we encountered in February was MUCH COLDER than we were expecting by the term "jungle". Possibly it was colder than usual but warm clothing would have been handy at this time.

  • It was ski-wear cold in the mornings in December, and sunbathing weather during the day - take layers!
