Thanks, Jungle Home, Pench. The passion for wildlife conservation shown by the guides and the Jungle Home employees is creditable. The incredible wildlife viewing opportunities was really awesome. Be sure to do all the morning bush walks with tour guide, ask lots of questions- the guides are so full of good information and they will respond based on your interests. Jungle Home does good emphasis on jungle theme & conservation. Hotel is having comfortable accommodation, clean rooms . Food was perfect and rich in taste & spicy too They should install a water dispenser in the Jungle Home to fill our water bottles, as lot of plastic water bottles garbage is piling up in jungle. Overalla must visit place for memorable trip.

I had organized a conference cum leisure trip for a group of 30 people in June. It was a memorable experience and a fantastic trip on all counts which I am sure will be echoed by all the guests. I would like to take special mention of the people who helped me in making this event a grand success. Reservations - Mr. Samrat Chowdhury of ITC WelcomHeritage & Mr. Pankaj Kukde of Jungle Home Resort Operations - Mr. Prakash (GM) & Ajay at Pench If the readers on this forum are planning a trip to this wonderful property then the following information may come handy. Reaching there : The resort is about 100 kms from Nagpur airport and the drive takes 2 hrs. The highway is super barring some patches where construction of flyovers / road widening is currently going on. One has to exit the highway at Khawasa and the resort is a 15 min drive through a forested area. Accommodation: 26 deluxe rooms + 2 suites spread across two floors overlooking a well maintained pool. There are two luxury tents which are located about 50 m away from the main building. The rooms / suites / tents are spacious, equipped with LCD TV/ DTH / mini fridge / split air conditioners. The linen / toiletries are standard as one would expect from a property affiliated with ITC WelcomHeritage chain. Cleanliness & upkeep is also spot on. Restaurant & food : The restaurant is on the first floor, large and equipped with air coolers (mind it there are no air conditioners here). The food is delicious and was one of the high points of our stay. Special thanks to Ajay and his team to dish out such splendid mouth watering stuff for the entire length of our stay. Breakfast buffet had adequate choices and variations on all days. Facilities : Conference / banquet hall : A large and spacious option available, maybe the best in the whole region. The facility is air cooled and can accommodate a large group. They provided us with all equipment & infrastructure needed for conference / evening functions. There is a huge play area where kids and adults can freak out and engage in football, cricket - the resort provides the gear needed as well ! Indoor games facilities include a pool table / table tennis & carrom board. Safaris : One can book safaris online through the government portal, or ask the resort to do it. Since number of vehicles allowed are limited hence one should be planning well in advance. Also note that safaris do not operate between July - September. We had booked two safaris - through Turiya & Khudpasar gates and were super lucky to spot the majestic tigers along with other animals on both trips ! Our trip was a grand success owing to the painstaking efforts of Prakash, Ajay and their team who pulled out all stops to ensure that everything worked with clockwork precision. This efficiency in a remote destination was beyond our imagination and I once again thank the entire team on behalf of our group. I am looking forward to a family trip soon after the park opens in October and will strongly urge the forum members to visit this place to experience the amazing wildlife coupled with fantastic hospitality of the resort.

This was my first trip to Pench Tiger Reserve. The place where I stayed was Pench Jungle Home. There are a few things that are worth to note: 1. The food is just superb 2. The owner are just terrific. There are there to help you for whatever you need. 3. The morning Safari starts at 5:30 from Khursapar gate and it takes just 15 minutes to get to the gate. And Tulia gate is just 4-5 minutes away (fantastic location) 4. There is some quick snacks given to you packed in a box along with some water and frooti. Paid of course, but it will be ready even before you reach the reception. 5. There is Tea and coffee available at 4:30 in the morning so that you are not delayed at all for your safari 6. There are a few names of people who really made the trip special for us - Prakash Ranjan (GM) a brilliant host and a fantastic person. He is ever willing to help you in every possible way. Bet it room, be it service or any thing relating to safari. He will have all answers. - Jurel, Bilas and Nimi were all help for everything, right for arranging for the day to making sure that the food was in the car. They will do everything with a smile. - Rajkumar, the superman in the kitchen, who would run in and out of the kitchen to get us all the yummy food. Overall a 5/5 and the best place to stay in Pench.

We visited with family and occupied 3 rooms. The rooms were clean , but lacked basic amenities like towels , soap etc. The refrigerator in the room was not working.Though once asked everything was given but the point was we had to ask for it after the price one pays. The swimming pool was a disaster and very unclean. didn't feel like even getting into the water. In terms of things to do the resort does not have much except a carom and table tennis room.I would suggest more things to keep people engaged. The highlight of the stay was definitely the hot food. The flavor for the food was very good , though rich and very oily, it was tasty. The packed breakfast given out for the safari ride is really bad though, we got burnt veg cutlets after we complained of getting boiled eggs and plain cheese sandwich the first day. The eggs were all black inside showing that they were boiled at least 10 hours before .Once we told the manager who took the order he said i cant call my guys early , this is a ridiculous statement given that safaris happen every morning at 0530 hrs , and its a given that breakfast needs to be prepared. When you see the food that others are eating at the safari resting point you would be amazed what other hotels are doing, including the presentation of the food . I would not go back to the resort.

This is a nice enough resort with spacious rooms, swimming pool, pretty good food for a jungle lodge and very good arrangements for the jungle safaris. But what I remember most is how everyone in the hotel went out of their way to make our stay better - right from Mr Gajendra Singh to Mr Jigar, the front office manager and the staff in the restaurant. We had the most disappointing safaris - just one far-off tiger sighting over 3 safaris - and it was only the hospitality at this resort that helped cheer us up.
