Reason For Rating : Wonderful resort with access to a clean and less crowded beach. A place where one can relax and enjoy a good time with family and friends. The service and staff both were good hence would recommend this place for stay. Only suggestion is if the resort's around could work on improving the road condition and access to resort.

What needs to improve : The linens provided looks very cheap and old. the bed covers and cult provided is not a five star hotel material. toilets are very clean except the toilet seat its looked dirty and stained.

What's Good: I stayed for 2 days in pool villa (306,303) About the resort. 1) Nice property, located in a quiet place. Real paradise. 2) It is really difficult to maintain this place because it is huge and hence there are few places which are not properly maintained. Villa 303 has some light issues in bathroom and pool area. Hope you guys will rectify or at least put some extra lights there. Night time less light is not safe. I stepped twice on a frog.. So you can understand. If anyone is afraid of frogs, lizards and spiders then pool villas are not for you. You might get these in every place and they are not because of less maintenance but it is due to the greenery that is maintained. So on cost of nature and awesome feel you need face these specially during night time...:p But I have no complains on this.. The place was worth of every money i invested. About the restaurant: 1) One single point. It was very good. Really all the dishes were good (buffets and ala cart). 2) Chefs are good and friendly, you can even talk to them. 3) Food was a bit overpriced but after having it, it seems like all things falling into right places. About the staff: 1) The best thing what a resort can give and Le Pondy is doing it at it best. The good thing is all the staff members are really happy and always smiles. So It super thumbs up to staff. About Transportation: 1) I have not tried any of that, because I opted fast track cab which was good. 400 from bus stand to le pondy and 300 from le pondy to bus stand. Over all I am very happy I spend my time and money on this resort. Will visit soon. But not via Bus as the road to pondy from bangalore is really pathetic.

What's Good: It was a good experience for us overall. But there are a few things that need improvement. 1. The Ayurvedic massage center 2. The backside door to the balcony can not be locked and poses serious security issues. Though there may be security guards 24x7, but we need the door to be locked to have a peaceful stay

1. At the Receiption While checkin everything was good.. 2. At the entry of room first glance it was good, but while observing properly -- Swimming pool was dirty -- wash room and bath area was dirty --- In room kettel was smelling -- there were no towels --- no floor mat etc etc 3. In evening we ordered Veg grill sandwhich --- and didn't imagined the sandwhich would have been served like this ---first of all it was not sandwhich bread at all it was a normal bed which we use for toast - bewteen the 2 slice just tomato, a cucumeber and onion and all just 1 small piece and toasted -- is this the way to serve sandwhich -- if we wanted to have such kind of sandwhich then we would have had it outside the resort 4. Dinner time -- staff was helpful but the hospitality which should be there it was not there.. 5. Next day morning we order a cup of tea -- to our surprise only tea was serverd and without cookies -- we dont think any luxury serves like that 6. During the breakfast -- we ordered a plain dosa -- sir u wont believe it it took 45 mins -- and almost we informed 4 to 5 serving staff -- then only the dosa was on our table.. 7. Before going to the breakfast we asked them to clean the room or may be we can our total room ---- to our surprise only the room the was cleaned -- the swimming pool was same as it is -- washroom and bath area was as it 8. Then we felt some burning smell in our --- the in room kettle was in on mode and it has become so hot that we were not able to touch the same with our normal hands --- is this not the safety issue 9. Forgot to infrom the WIFI --- Which the best in the resort --- getting disconnected every 10 mins --- and each and everytime we have to give our id and password to login again ---- have informed the reception and they told they will get back to me and till date we are just wating to get back to us.. 10. In the Morning we tried to contact the GM of the resort -- but we were told he is still not come to the office and we will update once he come --- till afternoon there was no update ---- we called up again and then only we came to know that he is on leave --- till then there was no update -- then we asked for contact number but the same was not given --- reason given that we dont have the number --- after this we spoke to sandeep the front office manager -- then we told him we need GM number -- after a little argument he agreed to gave us -- then we spoke to GM. 11. After Lunch when we were back in the room -- Front office manage sandeep and 2 other managers came and they were asking about the problems -- explained them each and everything and we think that it was useless --- because whatever suggestion we gave there was no action in that --- (for exmaple serving tea with cookies) --- after that we order tea 2 times but again it was same only tea was served.. 12. At Dinner --- we were paid special attention as have already compalints about the resort --- and offered complementry dinner -- but we rejected the same --- it not the matter of complimentry dinner -- it about the total environment which spoiled our total vaccation..

This property is blessed in its choice of location with the backwaters on one side and the Bay Of Bengal and it's beach on the other. The property has beautiful serene villas and two storied cottages with smaller rooms set among sprawling lawns and gardens. The villas are large with individual swimming pools of a good size, loungers, chairs, a bar and place to eat by the pool. The attached bathroom is well fitted and open on two sides, but, with privacy. The rooms are shaded by trees and flowering shrubs. There is a large common swimming pool too. The restaurant serves good local fare and some other basic continental and Chinese dishes. There is a moderately stocked bar with a great view too. The staff are friendly and try to accommodate, but, sometimes have trouble understanding requests. This is an ideal place to relax in with friends and/or family. It is quiet and away from the town so your transport has to be arranged if you want to go to the town or explore around. (We chose to have a car with us.)

This is the beach resort and you can enjoy the beach or go swimming in the beach while staying in the resort. Resort is big but not that big enough.Its a luxury hotel but somehow you get the feeling that luxury at some point is missing. Room size is average. A lot more maintenance is required in the resort. Food quality is just okay and breakfast and dinner spread is average

One of the best resorts in Pondicherry to stay at leisureand comfort and all in reasonable price. We booked the resort via an app and got three nights stay in around 19K including breakfast. It was quite reasonable compared to others. But this hotel is not in city and is at a distance from the promenade street. This place itself offers you everything. Game place, bar, swimming poo,l greenery, beach front, restaurant. Parking for cars also available. Well my personal ration out of five for following:- Rooms 4 Ambience 5 Food 4 Bar 3 Game room 4 Service 4 Facilities 4

We were a family of 8 visiting Pondicherry for a family vacation in the end of December 2017. We booked the resort on the basis of ratings which were pretty good. However, for the price that we paid (Rs 17,000 per night per room), the quality sucked. Rooms were old, quality of fittings were poor, uncomfortable mattresses, noisy air-conditioners, all in all not better than a 3 star hotel at best. Food was at best average. The last 2 km road to the resort was terrible and took 15 minutes to traverse. Also, we were cheated by the resort. We had initially booked 5 rooms but cancelled one. The resort required a prepayment of the entire amount at the time of booking. When we cancelled one room we did not get a refund for the same. At the time of checkout we were assured that we would get our refund which would be handled by their accounts department. We were given an email id to write to which we did. My email was acknowledged once but no confirmation given as to when the refund would be processed. My last 3 follow up emails have gone unanswered. Its now been over 3 months and I am still waiting for my refund.
