Reason For Rating : Wonderful resort with access to a clean and less crowded beach. A place where one can relax and enjoy a good time with family and friends. The service and staff both were good hence would recommend this place for stay. Only suggestion is if the resort's around could work on improving the road condition and access to resort.

What's Good: Its swimming pool , tasty breakfast and the location.
What needs to improve : The linens provided looks very cheap and old. the bed covers and cult provided is not a five star hotel material. toilets are very clean except the toilet seat its looked dirty and stained.

What's Good: I stayed for 2 days in pool villa (306,303) About the resort. 1) Nice property, located in a quiet place. Real paradise. 2) It is really difficult to maintain this place because it is huge and hence there are few places which are not properly maintained. Villa 303 has some light issues in bathroom and pool area. Hope you guys will rectify or at least put some extra lights there. Night time less light is not safe. I stepped twice on a frog.. So you can understand. If anyone is afraid of frogs, lizards and spiders then pool villas are not for you. You might get these in every place and they are not because of less maintenance but it is due to the greenery that is maintained. So on cost of nature and awesome feel you need face these specially during night time...:p But I have no complains on this.. The place was worth of every money i invested. About the restaurant: 1) One single point. It was very good. Really all the dishes were good (buffets and ala cart). 2) Chefs are good and friendly, you can even talk to them. 3) Food was a bit overpriced but after having it, it seems like all things falling into right places. About the staff: 1) The best thing what a resort can give and Le Pondy is doing it at it best. The good thing is all the staff members are really happy and always smiles. So It super thumbs up to staff. About Transportation: 1) I have not tried any of that, because I opted fast track cab which was good. 400 from bus stand to le pondy and 300 from le pondy to bus stand. Over all I am very happy I spend my time and money on this resort. Will visit soon. But not via Bus as the road to pondy from bangalore is really pathetic.

What's Good: It was a good experience for us overall. But there are a few things that need improvement. 1. The Ayurvedic massage center 2. The backside door to the balcony can not be locked and poses serious security issues. Though there may be security guards 24x7, but we need the door to be locked to have a peaceful stay

We reached the Resort after 3pm. Place was very welcoming. I contacted reception , unfortunately she was not very friendly or she was angry , we were not given that kind of customer treatment like how we got in other 5 star resorts like Zuri Goa. Ignored it and we went to our room. Place is awesome no doubt. We were guided by one of the staff who again was just doing her job. No interaction no smile nothing. Again ignored it because the place was really nice. I was also not very keen on getting some good customer service for sure. Aircon was pretty good . Rooms very clean. We did notice blood stains at the place where pillows were placed. Again we ignored and did not want to be tough customer always complaining. Property is worth a visit. Beach very close to the property but since it was hot outside just a small visit was made. I do visit many places and write reviews for others and also indirectly I promot their business. For this people like me need very customer service and this place was lacking it big time. Room service excellent. Food is Best in the resort. I don't know what this chef does but the food is magical. Try anything and you will not regret. Thanks to kitchen team and special thanks to the chef. Only name I can remember is Abu Becker. This person is somehow having the skill to handle his customers very well. When I got to know this guy for every small thing he was coming for our services. Thank you Abu. So the days went by and we never gave any trouble to the house keeping to clean room etc. We kept room clean any way. Finally the day was for check out. We were handed over a bill for food and beverages. We saw the bill and found out that there was some mis calculation and raised it with the reception. She took a long time to check and finally we remembered that the previous night two drinks were ordered. Each drink was 500. So the total was 1000. But the bill showed 2000. Since we could not wait we decided to pay it and get over with it. After the payment was swiped and we got the printed slip we exit the place and almost moved the car. We got a call from the reception and a guy hands over a VOID slip !!!!! That means the resort accounts department had cancelled the successful payment with out our consent !!! They handed over the voided bill and said we need to swipe again since there was calculation error from their end ! We did not have any extra cash or money . The person spoke to us and said the money will revert in 15 mins !! THAT was a LIE!! First of all it was their mistake and they had added 1000 more in the bill and for that mistake they voided our payment with out checking. Some how we managed to make that payment once again. Till date bank has not given the money back to us. They are still investigating the issue. My question to the management is , 1. Who gave you the permission to void our payment with out discussing it with the customer. 2. It was matter 1000 Rupees , so they could have offered some food or beverage worth that much. 3. No one is following up with customer for the payment reversal. Now we are stuck our money is stuck 13000 rupees is stuck. Who is responsible for this. Will hotel management or the duty manager will pay us??? Horrible service by the management. They don't have any clarity about anything. It was a matter of 1000 rupees they could have done so many things to avoid this Void. So readers be careful when in the hotel and using room service and ordering food and beverages. Please track it . Be careful. The prices are exorbitant not really worth paying so much even though the food quality is exceptional. There are 5 star and 4 star hotels where the prices better. I hope they don't do this with other customers and put customers in Major Problem for their mistake. Hope some one from hotel calls me sorts out the problem. My huble request to management. Please smile it won't cost you. Please make things easy for your customers. We travel long distance to be in a good place like this but your staff don't know how to treat customers. Not happy at all. Will surely not visit for the kind of problem we in because of your fault. I don't have any personal grudge , but after such a great experience at the time of check out you people messed it. So my advice to all be very careful at the time of billing and don't expect too much customer service. Thanks for creating problems.

Le Pondy is a new very pleasant hotel right on the beach. We had the ground floor of a little bungalow - we even had a tiny garden! The room had all we needed and was very clean. The pool was warm and wonderful and the grounds were well tended. there were pet rabbits playing on the grass and a nice corner for children. The beach was beautiful, white sand, big waves and a big undertow! Red flag, so no swimming! The dining room was busy, good food.

I left my watch in the room , called the hotel just 30 mins after the checkout from the car . Told them the exact place where I left my watch but they didnt gave it back. Was very hard to get a response from them had to call multiple times .The staff didnt seem to care much. Very unpleasant experience.

One should must visit Le Pondy and enjoy the stay....The main thing in your holiday is Stay and Food. We are Jain so we have a very limited option for food but I must thankful to the restaurant staff for their best dishes in Jain from breakfast to dinner. All chef's are too good. Restaurant staff is so polite specially Ms NAGESHWARI took very good care of us. All resort staff is good. Overall best experience and memorable stay. Thank you very much the team LE PONDY

Scenic view, nice & clean rooms, easy beach access and pool access.. most importantly, the ambiance was so peaceful.. Best service and very good food. Best place to spend a vacation. We had a memorable stay here with group of families.
