What's Good: Only interiors
What needs to improve : Power cuts in night for 4 hours post 1.30 AM which left us sleepless and at the mercy of mosquitoes, loction in a crowded marketplace, price overpriced as per facilities, water in restrooms gets finished every half an hour. Avoid this hotel always

Booking was easy, the staff helpful and cordial, but the actual place was a bit of a let down- the toilet had been used and not flushed- so obviously not cleaned, the bed sheets did not look fresh or clean. The fan and tv did not work. I had booked for 4 days but moved out in 1 bcos of this.

The hotel is centrally located. It was a little pricey but very cute. They had a lot of nice boutiquey touches. It is on a very busy street and I was concerned that it would be too noisy, but the noise miraculously stops around 10pm. It was the best sleep I got in India! The breakfast was also really good - both French and Indian. And the staff was also amazing - so friendly and helpful.

Being in a heritage area the place will have the colonial french surroundings. Parking is a problem as cars need to on road. Typical french colony type but a small place. Rooms are well maintained as like other Treebo hotels. There are better places around this area to stay and this can be an option. Very near to Aurobindo Ashram and the Sea Front. Nice to explore on walk

For the class of hotel in India it was surprisingly pristine clean and tidy. Location is central and walking distance to everything. Owners, Daniele & Chris were very helpful, friendly and service minded. Staff were also friendly, helpful. The only draw back was the busy noisy street outside, which one can expect when staying in the heart of an Indian town. So bring some earplugs. Overall a very pleasant stay over Christmas.

After paying 33K on the whole. There wasn't a lift nor a room service for tea at this hotel. Totally disappointed. My parents were old and they found it hard to climb the terrace(3rd floor) for breakfast. The milk sachets ran out second day. Breakfast options on one day wasn't available on the second. It is on the main street and so much noise entire night too.
