What's Good: The behaviour of the owner and staff
What needs to improve : Location
Reason For Rating : A budgeted homestay with all facilities. Moreover, Amir (the owner) was very helpful and guided us with every information that we enquired. They also have a car service and one can visit places using their vehicle only with a charge of Rs300 per spot. In a nutshell, we enjoyed our stay at Andaman Castle.

What's Good: Room was clean.
What needs to improve : Very very Far. No Restaurant, No Transport, High Price, Rude Behavior of Staff, Horrible Breakfast.
Reason For Rating : Hotel is in the Remote Area, far away from City. Rooms are Neat and Clean. Food is Very Expensive. Complementary Breakfast is fixed with One item. Staff Behavior is Rude & Bad. They think they are doing Favor for us. Lunch & Dinner not available, as there is No Restaurant. Ordering from outside is Very Very Expensive. You don't get Auto or any Transfer or Transport facility. If Hotel calls then it is very very Expensive. Hotel Charging so High Price, I don't recommend this Hotel.

I, Indrajit Ghosh Dastidar, from Kolkata experienced amazing tour arrangement by Andaman Castle. We went to Andaman on 21st December, 2018. Sea facing room on the 2nd floor accommodated by them was excellent. 7 Night 8 days Package arranged (Havlock and Neil Island) by Andaman Castle for us was very much entertaining and affordable also. Behavior of the Proprietor and all staff was cordial. New Year(2019) best wishes to Mr. Amir and his team.

We stayed in Andaman Castle for 2 nights and we had mixed feelings on the property. Pros 1. Property is well maintained. Rooms are very clean and of decent size. enough care is taken to ensure that the property is maintained clean and tidy. 2. Away from the bustle of City and close to the shore making it an ideal choice to take an evening/morning stroll along the shore. 3. Autos are readily available from the property to any part of port blair. Cons: 1. We did see 3 people managing the reception in revolving manner. An old man(the owner), a young man (Owners son) and a receptionist who is a young girl. While the young man was accommodating and sympathies with guests. The other two are not so welcoming. Especially the old man who was very grumpy and made us think about our choice of the property. He is the sole reason am giving the property a poor rating. 2. Breakfast can be better. We dont get anything extra with breakfast. We were served idly/vada for BF. THey provide just 1 vada per person and u dont get even an extra vada. 3. The auto driver whose is mostly available in the property(a tamilian) cheats guests. He charges Rs:100 to city centre while on the way back we hired an auto for just 45.

The rooms are clean and spacious and the owner is helpful. However the food options are a bit limited and one needs to order in advance. Also the location is a bit remote and quite some distance from the city centre hence is advisable to keep handy the contact number of an auto driver.

Stayed here in Dec 2018. Every thing is good about this hotel. Location, service, rooms, hospitality. Mr. Amir is very helpful and perfect planner. Made our visit memorable. Rates are reasonable. Morning view from sea facing room is amazing. We can hear the sound of sea waves from the room...

Overall a good place with all basic amenities. Stayed for two nights in Dec 2018. Pls note that this is a home stay and not a hotel. So people expecting typical hotel services and hotel buffet breakfast should stay away. The property is at a quite place away from city centre. There is good view of sea from balcony of some rooms. Wifi is available only in the reception. But the condition is same in almost all the hotels in Andaman. No restaurants within walkable distance. You need to order few hours in advance if you want to have food from their kitchen. One suggestion - the management should clarify the related policies to the kitchen staff. We booked the rooms with complementary breakfast. They don't prepare multiple items for breakfast. One morning, the breakfast item prepared by the kitchen staff was quite oily (it was poori sabji). Since I avoid too much of oily stuff, I requested for bread and jam. I was told that I would be charged extra for bread slices and jam because they had 'poori sabji' as menu for that morning. I ordered for the bread and during checkout I discussed the matter at reception. The lady was considerate enough to waive off such extra charges.
